everyone who doesnt write the upp as canon accurate as possible needs yo be publixally exevuted and i am not exempt from this. unfortunately thats illegal so i am repenting by being stupidly insane about them forever!!!. they werent monster hunters they were scared little kids who barely knew what they were up against. they were amateur detectives who walked into a horror film and never found their way out
you HAVE to understand. the unwitness protection program was not set up to deal with monsters. they were never monster hunters. amateur ghost hunters? yeah, sure, but ghosts. safe, harmless spirits. they were kids. i doubt any of them were over 16 when shit hit the fan. they knew the woods well enough to hike in them. they didnt know what they were getting into. they just wanted to know why people were disappearing. they never fought monsters, they ran away.
