A Man of Many Faces [OPEN]
A cheshire grin spread across Eoin’s features– although they were not his own. No, the skinwalker had worn a fairly simple, non-restrictive outfit and after a few drinks had found himself quite relaxed. Relaxed enough that was, to freely shift from one castle resident’s appearance to another, reveling in the chaos and confusion he caused with every interaction.
An amulet hung around his neck– a recent purchase that he’d spent most of his work savings thus far on. So far it had more than proven worth the expense though, masking his scent as he shifted, as to not give away his real identity so easily. His ability to mimic one’s vocals wasn’t quite perfect still, but over the chaos of everyone in close proximity, Eoin had noticed it was quite hard for others to spot the imperfections. He stuck primarily to staff and slaves as he shifted, still sober enough to not dare impersonate the wrong master.
The psychologist had been ready to shift back to his own form and relax for a moment when he felt a figure sit down beside him. He hesitated, remaining in the shifted form as he turned to face his company. “Well aren’t you a sight,” he complimented smoothly. “Enjoying yourself tonight?”
OOC NOTE: For this starter, Eoin can currently be impersonating staff, slaves or villagers only. If you wish for him to be impersonating a master, please message me first so we can discuss. Eoin may be impersonating your own muses, or another’s. The following muns have given permission for their muses to be among those impersonated: K, Logan, Artemis, Lianne, Ace, Nathan, Honey, Rose.
Since he was not exactly into socialising; especially not during a festive such as this one no matter how grand it was, the Reaper was careful to weave through the crowds, avoiding unecessary conversations and looking out for familiar faces at the same time. Regulus eventually could spot one from afar, relaxing by himself in a spot where there were less people loitering. Since he wasn’t able to spend much time with the pheonix the past few weeks due to being occupied with preparations for the event, this would be a perfect time to check on him.
It was when he settled down next to the other that he felt it. Indeed Regulus was staring right into Aleixo’s lovely eyes and the pheonix’s familiar smile, yet there was still something off about him. “Not as pleasing one like yourself.” That compliment had been genuine at least, because the other did look stunning in his attire. “Huh..the drinks made it bearable I guess for me. You seem to be enjoying yourself though, that’s good.”
