LFE LESSONS (PART 2)
Here are some life lessons that I hope blooms positivity in you and gives you a breeze of inspiration.
  1.Travelling alone is better than with bad company. You don't need a company to do better things. YOU ARE ENOUGH. For all of it. Whatever your destination is and how much ever difficult your path is, it is better to walk on it alone than with a wrong company or with someone who is always ready to pull you down.
2.Own up to your mistakes. Do what you say you'll do. Kiddo, Grow up! And owning up to your mistakes is one of the biggest signs of being mature. Be responsible for your acts. Give words only if you can keep them. Because trust me, when you give someone words and don't keep them- That shit hurts!
3.Maturity is accepting that you won't get answers to the shit that hurt you the most. Heal anyway! It is what is, right here!! Learn to LEARN, GROW and EVOLVE by yourself.
4.One of the most important decisions you will ever make in life is who you have children with. CHOOSE WISELY. If you sit and think about it- That's who you are going to be spending your whole life with. Your good times and bad times, all of it. You gotta stop playing around and be wise and selfish at this very moment. This will be the most important decision you make for life.
5.Never, I repeat never let your inner child die. I always keep repeating this to everybody I meet. There is always going to be pressure in your life no matter if you are a child or a grown-up. Even a child stresses about his homework and we all know the hardships of being a grown-up. But whatever may, never let your inner child die. Jump with joy for things that make you happy. Cry for the smallest of things. And just be young at heart. Remember how happy and carefree you were as a kid. Keep your that self alive.
6.You can't pour from an empty cup, so take care of yourself first. My major principle for life.Â
You have to have it to give it. So take care of yourself first.
7.No one reads the mind. So speak what you feel. It's kinda hard at times. To speak what you feel. You are worried to hurt the other person's feelings and it is okay to be considerate. But you have to make sure that at times you express yourself. Express what you feel. Because no one can read your mind and not everyone is good at understanding people. Understanding you. So make sure you let the person know how you feel when you feel.
8.Never feel bad about promoting yourself. Self promotion is not about you and it's not selfish. Try not to hem and haw when it comes to your project or a little job that you have done. It's your little achievement and I know you are proud of it. So why not promote it a bit and let the good thing go to people because it's not always that people come to good things. So yeah!!! Go advertise or whatever. Promote yourself!
9.Spending time alone is one of the best things you can do. All my introvert friends, where ya at?
Here it is!! The mantra to less drama in your life. Spend as much time as you can with yourself. Alone. You can read or write or whatever. Even lock yourselves up if you need but do take that alone time. It's important. Very important.
10.Celebrate your accomplishments. Buy yourself your favourite chocolates or your favourite food and just praise yourself for the tiniest of your achievements. I cannot even emphasize on this much.
11.If you care too much about what other people think, you're effectively their slave. You can never make everyone happy. Just how much ever you try. You can't. Someone is always going to be unhappy. So isn't it better you focus on your own happiness.
12.Everyone you love will eventually die, spend your times with your loved ones, keep them close. Love your people today. Love your people every day. Express it to them that they are precious to you and that they matter. Tomorrow is never promised. Make sure that every time you have a chance, you don't miss it. Be with your people. Show them the love you have for them. Every time you get a chance to showcase your affection, show it. Show them that no matter what the situation is, your love and affection for them will never change. You have time for them and that they mean so much to you.
Life lessons!!
Life teaches us something every day. Every bad decision we have ever made, every accomplishment we have celebrated, we have learned something or the other from it. Within 20 years of my life spent on this planet, I am not experienced enough to preach life lessons âŚ. yeah RIGHT!!!
Well, I am not. But here some statements that I made are totally based on my real-life experiences and some are statements that I have read and totally believe in it. So here is a list of my top 10 LIFE LESSONS that I have learned, experienced and wish to abide by them for life.
HERE GOES
1. No one has it all figured out. Yep!! Stating facts. No one has it all figured out. Even those who pretend that they have, trust me they do not. Future is family to none.
2. Being nice is overrated, be kind, be fair, be understanding, not ânice.â Being nice is when you are polite to people and treat people well. Being kind is when you care about people and show you care. Sometimes you can be kind to someone even though you arenât nice to them and you can certainly be nice to someone but also be unkind. To me, the difference between these two comes in terms of depth.
3. To love is to be vulnerable, let your guard down. Itâs freaking hard. I know kid. I know!! But loving means being vulnerable. You have to let your guard down to let him or her know the person that is you, only to yourself. You have to share your âthatâ self with them that is you, only when you are alone. You have to be able to share your insecurities without being insecure. You should no longer cry to yourself at night. When you love, you will be vulnerable yet be the strongest.
4. Good or bad you can learn from everybody. Do I even need to say a thing? A child will learn from anybody be good or bad. So are we. Every person- good or bad, we meet, teaches us something. Itâs up to us what we take and how we take it.
5. Embrace all of your emotions, donât ignore them, donât mask them, embrace them. Most important of them all. Let your emotions flow. Happy, sad, angry. Whatever. Just embrace them all. Never be embarrassed about how you feel. Feel it hard. Feel it strong and embrace them all.
6.Unlearning is just as important as learning. Because the circumstances in which you learned something for the first time might be different than this time. And hence, as we move forward in life we should see the same things in new lights.
7. Priorities matter. While I believe everyone is interesting, time is still the most valuable currency. This means you need to choose. Taking a few minutes to really think about how you want to spend your timeâand who you want to spend it withâwill reduce the amount of regret you may feel in the future.
8. One day you will need to be forgiven so learn to forgive others. Not forgiving is like drinking poison and expecting the other person to get hurt or die.â The reality is holding onto resentment literally keeps our cortisol running and makes us sick. The wonderful thing about forgiveness is it really only takes one to tango. You only need one person to forgiveâ YOU!
You donât even need the offender.
9. Instead of buying your children what you didnât have, teach them what you didnât know. Itâs good to fondle your kids with lavish things and expensive toys and making sure they have everything that they wish for and that you wished for once but couldnât have it. But I think itâs better to provide them with proper knowledge. Pass on to them your wisdom that you have gained through life and that you also learned from your mistakes.
10. If you value your time say no to anything that you donât absolutely want to do. For us people who always care about others so that we donât hurt their feelings and that that they donât feel bad about it we always feel obligated to say âyesâ, which is so wrong. We sometimes even say âyesâ to do something that we would rather die than do. But it is high time that you learn to say âNOâ to things you really donât wanna do. That would save you a lotta time- for yourself.
