For someone who wants to join the server, is roleplaying necessary? Is there an option to spectate or chat about the story itself? The concept of the RP sounds really interesting but it's been a while since I've role played.

Hi I am just waiting on your follow up - I've joined the discord server but I figured since I do actually want to play Beel I 'd try to give a little context. Beel's a lot more clever than people want to give him credit for. He does suffer from some PTSD too. He's a hungry demon and he's not making any apologies for it - he's a spoiled demon brat and kinda has a bit of entitlement going on especially being one of the youngest. That said he also has some real issues I would say he shoulders to allow Belphie to have some leeway. At the end of the day there's a lot going on for him and I'd definitely want to play him being a slave to his gluttony because yep he'll eat things and also he will prioritize Belphie an his health and well being but also he has learned a handful of things in his time being a fallen angel
Hello! As per the last ask box response, please reach out to our DMs here directly for us to conduct a proper interview to ensure you’d be an adequate fit for Beelzebub! We appreciate your enthusiasm! To know what to expect, the process will go as follows.
Once you DM us here, we will ask about your experience, literacy levels, and ensure you’d can meet our minimum activity requirements.
We will then conduct a character analysis interview to get a better feel for you personally portray Beel. While there are no technical right or wrong ways to interpret a character, rather just different interpretations, we will be discussing your responses to see if your interpretation will be suitable for the premise of our server!
Once we receive all the answers, the team will discuss together on whether or not you’ll receive the role. If we determine you’re a good fit, we’ll place Beel on reserve for you so that you can work on his detailed doc application for the server. If we determine otherwise, it’s nothing personal and it’s simply just apart of our process in wanting to find canons that we can entrust will fit in with the rest of our acquired cast and plot line! You are still more than welcome to join in and apply for an OC in this case!

OBEY ME is a 4 pages doc i made recently for members of the @obm-lc rp to use! it is inspired by the game "Obey Me" assets, but with a more gothic and dark aesthetic. the main focus is having the freedom to write as much as you want for your character's story! it was honestly refreshing working on a google docs again after so long and i'm proud of how it turned out.
they were also amazing to work with! very nice and understanding, responding as soon as they could despite our time differences. really glad i got to work with them! also, if anyone is interested in the rp, i suggest checking them out!

Are you interested in an 18+, long term, oc-friendly Obey Me roleplay server? Lilith’s Curse is made by a team of three and welcomes literate writers to join us on unraveling the canon-divergent mysteries surrounding the sudden appearance of humans in the Devildom. This roleplay will be taking place on discord.
After an unexplained phenomenon known as the GHAP takes the human realm by storm, it sends the world spiraling into chaos. Mass hysteria and conspiracy theories against the government are at an all time high as people are wondering why and how people across the globe have mysteriously vanished without a trace. Meanwhile, the Devildom is plagued by their sudden appearance, leaving His Royal Highness himself to clean up the mess. Taking them under his wing as a temporary solution, the humans are welcomed into the Royal Academy alongside the new influx of first year students. Having caught wind of the sudden situation at hand, Michael sends over angels from the Celestial Realm to monitor over the circumstances as he’s forced to remain in communication with Diavolo for the time being. Tensions are high and the concept of the three realms being forced to withstand one another’s presence is unlike anything ever imagined.
While Lilith’s Curse does follow a similar structure to the canonical storyline of Obey Me, our server has taken a creative approach to the lore and altered it to fit a darker and more serious narrative! Lore events will be held as the roleplay progresses, providing our writers parts of a story for them to piece together as development occurs. Please be aware that our storyline does stray from canon and there will be differences that reflect that in this roleplay. If you’re interested in roleplays that involve obtainable lore through progression, then we encourage you to come check us out! All of our in-universe information can be accessed through our carrd site, which will be dropping shortly before our server publicly opens. As mentioned above, Lilith’s Curse aims to take Obey Me and recategorize it into the mystery-horror genre. Our server will portray the setting and characters in a much more serious and thorough light than the original game depicts. We have changed and structured our lore to reflect that, and it should be noted that the “unity program” was something that was forced into existence rather than a dream on behalf of Diavolo. Again, we highly encourage everyone to read our official lore in our carrd once we open before deciding whether or not you’d like to apply.
Since our server is 18+, our server does require ID verification to ensure the safety of minors and to protect adult-only spaces. Team Cursed does not hold onto your personal information and everything aside from a birthdate can be censored when verifying! If you’re uncomfortable with this process, then our server may not be the best choice for you. Again, this is an important safety policy for the server and there will be no exceptions made.
With all of that being said, our server will be opening soon! As we enter our promotional phase, reblogs and likes are extremely appreciated.
