OBSCURA@Revela-T Am 19., 20. und 21. Juni 2015 gab es in Vilassar de Dalt (BCN) ein grandioses Festival mit Ausstellung, Workshops und Meetings die eines klar machen: Analoge Fotografie ist absolut lebendig! Und OBSCURA war Teil des Revela-T Festivals.

January and February were two exiting months at the beginning of this year! We were invited to join the Analogue Now! Festival in Berlin and had a new exhibition at the Art School in Vitoria-Gasteiz.

Das Jahr ist noch ganz jung und Januar und Februar waren schon mal super spannend. Wir waren mit OBSCURA beim Analogue Now! Festival in Berlin und hatten bereits eine neue Ausstellung in der Kunstschule von Vitoria-Gasteiz.

The next year starts just like the old one ended: With a lot of Pinhole Love.

Just one year after the release of OBSCURA and our vernissage in Berlin, we'll be in the Basque Country for another exhibition, which will take place at the Art School of Vitoria-Gasteiz.

The opening will be on the 30th of January and the exhibition will be open until February 27th. We'd love to see you around!

Das neue Jahr beginnt, wie das alte Jahr endete: Mit ganz viel Pinhole Liebe!

Ziemlich genau ein Jahr nach dem Release von OBSCURA und der dazugehörigen Vernissage sind wir mit einer weiteren Ausstellung im Baskenland.

In der Kunstschule von Vitoria-Gasteiz laden wir euch am 30. Januar herzlich zur Vernissage ein. 

Die Ausstellung läuft dann noch bis zum 27. Februar 2015.

OBSCURA beim REFLECTISM Forum vom Photography Playground. Für diejenigen unter euch, die diese Woche in Berlin sind haben wir einen Tipp: Diesen Donnerstag sind wir eingeladen, OBSCURA im Rahmen des REFLECTISM Forum vom Photography Playground by Olympus, vorzustellen. Außerdem werden dabei sein: "a friend is a friend" von Birgit Glanzel und Bilder als Rauminstallation von Tina Zimmermann. REFLECTISM ist eine wöchentliche Vortragsrunde. Der Eintritt ist frei und der Vortrag zum Thema "Exposure of undiscovered territory" geht um 18:30h los. Der zweite Photography Playground ist übrigens wieder sehr gelungen und wir empfehlen auch hier dringend etwas zu experimentieren! OBSCURA at REFLECTISM Forum at the Photography Playground.

For those of you who are in Berlin this week, we'd like to warmly invite you to join us this Thursday! We are invited to present OBSCURA at the REFLECTISM Forum at the Photography Playground by Olympus. The following projects will be presented as well: "a friend is a friend" by Birgit Glanzel and Pictures in Space by Tina Zimmermann. REFLECTISM is a weekly FORUM FOR VISUAL EXPLORATION. The entrance is free and we'll start at 6:30PM with a panel discussion on the subject "Exposure of undiscovered territory" (which will be in German!). This was the exhibition opening and the launch-party

When we started in 2012 to call the world-wide pinhole community to submit their pictures, we never expected such a great response from all over the world! On January, 31st we celebrated the release of „OBSCURA: 121 Blicke – 121 views“ with a small exhibition opening in Berlin. In addition to editor and photographer Larissa Honsek many more photographers, who are now part of OBSCURA, from all over the world were there. It was a great pleasure to meet: Alex Yates, Succubus, Jozef Pajerský, Petra Papajová, Markus Kaesler, Lucas Kastelijn, James Cathcart, Glenda Moor, Stephan Pless and Jos van Roij! Das war die Vernissage und Launch-Party Als wir vor zwei Jahren den Aufruf starteten Lochkamera-Bilder für OBSCURA einzureichen, hätten wir niemals mit solch einem großen Erfolg gerechnet. Viele von euch haben in letzter Zeit gefragt, wie denn der Stand bei OBSCURA ist und hier sind endlich Neuigkeiten für euch! Die Bilder zeigen euch, wie unser Dummy aussieht und das Buch ist bereits im Korrektorat.

Heute haben wir außerdem einen Termin mit der Druckerei, um die letzten Details abzustimmen – und rechtzeitig zur Vorweihnachtszeit kommt OBSCURA – 121 Blicke dann frisch aus der Druckerei.

Wann genau die Release-Party stattfindet, verraten wir euch natürlich auch noch so schnell wie möglich!

THE PRINTING PRESS IS CALLING!

Many of you have asked as for news on OBSCURA, and yes, we have some for you! We have finally assembled all the parts (texts and pictures) and put together a "dummy" book. Please say HELLO to our very rough first version of OBSCURA!

Proofreading is already going and today we have an appointment with the printing shop to adjust the last details. If everything works out, OBSCURA will be available just in time for your Christmas shopping.

Speaking about festivities: We will of course also keep you updated about the timing of our release-party! ;)
