A lot of people hate on Tyler Oakley for some reason my guess would be they assume he’s one of those white gays. But from what I’ve seen when he’s ignorant on an issue he goes out of his way to learn about. He’s vocal about intersectional advocacy within the LGBT community. There are definitely more problematic people out there.
trying my best, eager to learn & grow, know i’ll never be perfect (& have been far from it in my own past), nor do all people have to like me, but want to use my privilege & platform on the internet for good, and to amplify voices that are marginalized, especially in the lgbtq+ community. if there are ever ways i can do better, always let me know. especially important now, more than ever.
