I can easily avoid homophobia by just simply hiding the fact that I am a lesbian.

Yeah okay, I can't easily hide my assigned sex by birth (I'm nonbinary), but I'm really tall, I have a buzzcut, hoodies easily hide my chest, as long as I don't talk, I can pass as a boy.

A lot of times people in public do mistakes me for a guy.

And yes, hiding your queerness? Sucks. It really does. Having to find ways to protect yourself is a form of oppression.

But people of color?

They can't just hide their skin color.

When people see me, before they see anything else, they see a white person. So usually, people assume I am sensible, and calm.

But when a white person sees a black person, they immediately assume they are a thief, they are loud, they are "ghetto".

I can avoid oppression.

People of Color cannot.

I actually noticed Deku was in love with Bakugou in my first read as early as the kamino arc (even though my brain is generally shut-off in my first read and I don't notice stuff like that unless someone point it out), but I was rewatching the anime, and there were hints and signs of bakudeku on both sides even as early as S1 ep7-8, that really makes me realize that Bakudeku was winning all along huh

I watched the anime first but I entirely agree 🧡💫💚

I was OBSESSED with Bakugo’s character as soon as the teacher called Deku out for applying to UA too and how Bakugo flipped his lid because for me the scene didn’t flow or make sense

Bakugo when from completely dismissing the class as extras and laughingly challenging them to an absolute rage fit? Clearly there were shenanigans a foot!

Then he ran after Deku to tell him to not look down on him for saving him from the sludge? Again that’s a weird amount of special attention and effort to just tell someone to fuck off, considering they were already heading home so they were technically already fucking off

But what really sold me was actually paying attention to the title sequence in the next episode
