Going up! Space Shuttle Columbia lifts off on its 12th mission from the Kennedy Space Center on a 13-day mission, Jun 1992. It was the 1st Shuttle flight with the Extended Duration Orbiter, which allowed for longer flights. It was also the 1st time Columbia landed at Kennedy Space Center. It had to due to bad weather by Edwards Air Force Base in Southern California.
