I changed “Ask Me Anything” to “Help Build the FAQ” with a huge favor in mind, from you.

My hope is some of you will help me push through my AuDHD related challenges surrounding this particular task so all the info can be up before New Years Eve!

Send as few or as many questions you want but send them individually.

I’m struggling with keeping myself from going on tangents, so having each question on its own gives my brain focus from an external source.

Meaning, don’t send a list of questions or chunk of text with multiple questions. Send one. Then send another. Etc.

Is anyone in the OC community here also into Print and Play type games?

I’m hoping to collaborate on a one page Print and Play game to include in the zine - based on “On Cinema.” It would be WAY more fun to do that with a few people than on my own!

I’ve been tinkering with a few possible directions and mechanics but it will be better with more brains involved.

Some speculation from the ON CINEMA SEASON FINALE (SPOILER WARNING)

Did anyone get Of Mice and Men vibes? New allowing Gregg to have his three movies and Popcorn Classic? That was like giving Lenny his last good moments before the shot to the back and I was so anxious the cops were going to bust in and arrest Gregg!

Luckily it’s just Tim/New doing his same old routine about leaving & most certainly not actually going anywhere; just trying to make Amato think that is where he is to try & save his ass.

Also…

anyone contemplate how incredible a season from a local jail would be? Like during activity time they are doing a community service for their fellow inmates! On Cinema in the rec room once a week? Posters of prison films around!

My head canon is that New is eventually in jail and Gregg is not but chooses to be there each week because he loves an audience and a place to stay too.

Then there are the possibilities / thoughts

-Tim/New reconnecting with his first wife Stephanie and son from before TCH Jr.

-New has no money. He should drop lawsuits like Sizzler because now he has real life or death Amato issues to hide from. (Unless the Sizzler suit is useful but … i doubt it?

-Matt Newman’s death is still open issue

-Divorce from Toni

-Civil Suit re: Electric Sun 19

-Movie House destruction

-Harm to multiple people with rat poison

And i’m leaving stuff out but On Cinema is truly the best Soap Opera ARG ever!!! Now we have to wait for March!!

Time to focus hardcore on the zine 🍿🍿🍿🍿🍿✂️

Ahh! I want everyone who liked/shared this project so far to know how much it means to me.

However, I’m realizing Tumblr is actually really different and i’ve been off socials in general so long that i’m not sure of etiquette.

My instinct is to personally thank each person who liked or shared but then it looks like i’m “liking” my own post.

Gregg Turkington is so nice and I bet anyone here who met him too had a similar experience?

I’ve met so many people over the years that honestly, I wish I hadn’t. Meeting your hero’s rarely goes as you want, but it was so refreshing how down to earth and kind Gregg was and ill never forget it. I’m writing about it for the zine.

I have extreme CPTSD and hadn’t left my house in over three years other than doctor appointments but pushed through somehow and went to his show. I was shaking and he just didn’t make me feel weird at all.

My claim to fame is apparently being the first person to ask him to sign something with his new “:The Movie” stickers.

Okay, now i’m super curious if one camp (i.e. Greggheads vs. Timheads were more likely to be “right away” or “gradual.”

I’m really curious if one group (Timheads vs Greggheads) know right away more frequently than the other, but the polls don’t answer that question.

My Family Visiting during G.’s Service

My family is all together for the holiday and i’m laughing to myself because tomorrow i’ll have to say some version of:

“Um.. please excuse me but i’ve got to attend a live fake virtual funeral for a man who had connections with a fallen dictatorship in Argentina and it’s being organized by his not-really son that (in my mind) killed him via decades old cream of shrimp soup from the Ma and Pa Kettle movies. I’ll be back after the service. Thank you for respecting my grief.”

Tumblr features & etiquette.

I’m still getting the hang of Tumblr and figuring out how it all works/what the features are, and not 100% there yet so forgive me for any awkward posts or comments / slow responses while I figure this all out and where things are.🍿🍿🍿🍿🍿

Any tips are welcome on different features that help connect with OC fans. Even if it seems obvious don’t hesitate to point things out!!

I see a “Asks” and “submissions” you can edit that to be named whatever you want. Is that something (or is there another similar feature) allowing people to send in zine submissions directly through Tumblr!? Or is that totally just for short text or submitting to post on the blog? Haha I’m not sure this makes sense.

I’ll be experimenting!

I’m also going to respond to everything but my AuDHD makes processing slow so please don’t think i’m ever ignoring a comment and know how deeply I appreciate your responses.

In all seriousness, what do you think makes a Gregghead vs. a Timhead?

I often wonder this (that isn’t just a figure of speech either, I genuinely think about this a lot). Us fans don’t generally switch sides and therefore feel strong in a real way about which character we choose to pledge allegiance to in the On Cinema universe.

What do you think makes someone know they are a Gregghead vs. Timhead in terms of personality type?

For example, i’m AuDHD and just instantly gravitated to the character of Gregg.
