sooo yk since homelander can hear heartbeats, he'd be able to hear y/n's heart racing when he's near so he thinks she is scared of him. but shes actually got a little crushy crush and she literally wouldn't be able to hide it from him hehe

yeaa present day homelander would be so over it and i’m scared of him so me personally? i’m making a million excuses to not tick him off more. “high blood pressure” or “just thinking about this scary movie i watched last night, sorry, sir.”

younger homie, my baby, and i’m talking like pre season one even, he’s much more forgiving imo. maybe even flattered and used to it. and he just likes anyone that’s nice to him bc he’s a loser so ur in. plus ur attractive. so he would try to reassure u even if he has no idea how to. “I promise I will not voluntarily kill you. Scout’s honor,” with his sexy little smile and those sharp fangs. and if u play along? ur his next obsession.

because suddenly he’s following you around the tower (assuming u work there). lightly stalking you when he doesn’t work himself up to make conversation with you about mundane things like the weather.

and then after a short time, it’s his heart rate that’s racing. and homelander doesn’t get nervous or off-kilter so this could go either way: option one he gets upset and eventually kills u lol OR, my personal favorite (because killing u means admitting u did this to him), u help him make peace with it

the scene of homelander using his super speed was genuinely so terrifying and cool, i so desperately wish we got more moments like this in the previous seasons.

one more episode left and the seasons lowkey dogshit and got no where, this is insane, but when the slivers of REALLY good well written scenes come through its so peak for that split second.

also wish they showed homelander killing frenchie on camera but i really don't care for the character either way so who cares if he died but, that dialogue in the chamber was really good. i'll give the writers that one little thing! and frenchie too i guess 😒
