I don’t really understand why some people ONLY in this fandom only call a girl “best girl” because their chance of getting with Ayanokoji is higher than others.

It just kinda feels like they’re only popular to be his romantic interest when at times the character itself is actually interesting already…

Perfect example of this is Kei. Like I’m not caught up so I can’t say much on their actual breakup but tell me why people put her character down compared to other girls in this show because she dated Ayanokoji and it didn't work out like? And for some takes, it's obvious to tell that they aren't hating on her character for reasons like “she hasn't developed in a while” or “she's not really relevant anymore” or even just not liking her or her character (which is fine!) but only because of the fact that her relationship with Koji didn't work out. Because she wasn’t “the one” or whatever.

I don't know if it just me but that's weird to me.
