Demian

He's 16 years old. He's the athletic one in his group of friends. For some reason, he's always tired.

He’s played too many sports, but right now he’s on a baseball team. In his free time, he goes skateboarding in a park near where he lives. In that park, he met Edgar, his best friend (his bro). They’re both skateboarding fanatics, but Edgar isn’t very good at it, so Damian teaches him some basic tricks, and in return, Edgar helps him with his math and physics classes.

Azucena and he have been friends since childhood because their parents are friends from college. Plus, they’ve been neighbors since they were kids. They’ve both influenced each other’s personalities. She’s influenced his interest in alternative and artistic things, music, and fashion. They’re almost like siblings.

His family has come to suspect that he’s gay because he’s never shown any interest in girls. He’s really just not interested in having a partner at all. To him, his friends are his family and would do anithing for them. He’s even had girls and boys confess their feelings to him, but he feels very uncomfortable having to reject those advances. Azucena finds those situations funny. Damián does too, but he hides it better.

I ship them... Yeah, I know it's funny to say that I ship the bc they are my OCs, if I wanted to they could be a couple. But no, I want them to be just good friends (for now).

If I eventually write a story for my OCs I want them to start as friends. Maybe Edgar would have a little instant crush on Azucena bc he thinks she's beautiful and would find attractive her kind-of-alternative style. But as they spend time together he would appreciate her more and more as a friend; their friendship would be more important than any attraction. Knowing she doesn't see him with romantic intentions he will discard any idea of confessing; being by her side respectfully as just friends will be enough.

Later she would also fall for him, confessing her feelings and asking him first to be her boyfriend. I like this trope of "he fell first but she fell harder".

But even if they are not a couple (yet) I will draw them as if they were one, hehe.
