Shatter Your Rose Tinted Glasses - A Hex?!?
I have an older brother, and as much as I love him, frankly, heās an idiot. He has a fiancee, and I love the fact that my brother is so happy. However, I hate his fiancee. Sheās two-faced, a narcissist, and uses him for his money. Like Iāve seen his bills. He takes her shopping and out to restaurants, and spends some serious money on her, money he canāt afford. Yet they donāt see each other even once a week because sheāsĀ āsuper busy with schoolā and I understand, Iām a college student myself, but whenever he asks her for help, sheāsĀ ātoo busyā to help him. Everytime she comes over, she acts like a guest rather than a fiancee. She doesnāt help clean any mess sheās made, she doesnāt help anyone with anything, she just comes in and acts like sheās fucking royalty, giving her opinions where it isnāt asked, telling people what to do, and frankly trying to act like my mother or ruler than an older sister.Ā
Now, again, I love my brother. If heās happy, Iām happy. But I canāt just sit by and watch as he throws his life away and marries some girl who doesnāt love him for who he is. I donāt want to break them up via magick (casting a break-up spell), I couldnāt live with the guilt. But instead, I want him to see her for who she truly is, without the rose tinted glasses.
So @frankiezaltar and I came up with a sigil (because Iām obsessed with sigils) to help with the situation.Ā
Step 1: Draw some glasses, could be any glasses: everyday glasses, sunglasses, any kind, but make sure the lenses are big enough to write in.
Step 2: Color the glasses pink or rose, making them ārose- tintedā
Step 3: Write the names on one lens, and the other on the second lens. For example, my brotherās name would go on the first lens, either right or left, and his fianceeās would go on the second.Ā
Step 4: Tear the sigil into pieces. This is to represent theĀ āshatteringā of the glasses.
Step 5: Burn the torn up pieces, because glass is made from fire, this is to undo the love thatās been formed in his mind for her. I do this step only because I know that heāll try to use his love to blind him from reason, and try to use it as an excuse to stay with her even after seeing who she really is deep on the inside.Ā
I understand if this seems more like a curse than a hex, and I definitely understand how it could make others feel uncomfortable to cast it. However, this is the best solution I could come up with. My opinions are my own, spare me of your opinions if you somehow regard this as wrong or whatever.Ā
