I should’ve known when you grabbed my wrist too hard in the fall; should’ve known when you called me chubby, then broke up with me for being upset about it; should’ve known when you grabbed me away and started kissing me just because I was talking to a friend; should’ve known when you wanted to hit your friend for saying I looked good when we were all going out together; should’ve known when I felt like I couldn’t tell my parents anything that was going on; should’ve known when you thought I made up a lie so I couldn’t visit on your birthday; should’ve known when wouldn’t come to a 15 minute game (I scored, by the way); should’ve known when you didn’t want me to wear certain clothes out; should’ve known when you didn’t want me to go out; should’ve known when you held a mistake over my head for months; should’ve known when you got mad at me for talking to your roommate at the dining hall before texting you to come to the dining hall, only for you to laugh, but you were like a time-bomb to me by then; should’ve known in the fall when you grabbed my wrist too hard when we couldn’t decide where to get lunch.
