The warmth of the summer light feeling like tender kisses upon his skin as it trickled in through the window sill as he lie on the soft bed. The comforter was plush and warm for nights when it got a bit chilly or like last night, perfect for their love making and cuddling sessions. His Alternative laid among soft pillows and sheets underneath him earlier yesterday’s frolics and laughter before switching to laced drenched kisses and wolfish cries, sweat beading off them both in passionate entanglement that poets only dream about in their writings and song lyrics.
Such beauty to behold from such a pure set of two that hide away in plain sight but the rendezvous don’t stop night after night. B looked upon A, the sunlight hitting just right against fair skin, causing it to glow as he smiled up at Beyond. Hands interlocking into B’s hair, he couldn’t find a more perfect moment than what he was experiencing the now. Lips found their way against the others, tongues dancing and soft exhales through nostrils as B’s body had come down on top of Alternative. The butterflies erupting in his stomach and the joyous rampage bursting out of his chest.
This was his. This was Beyond’s love. This is who he wanted to spend the rest of his days with and he will have it even if it kills him. He will make sure A says yes to him and run away from this god forsaken house once and for all.
B’s eyes shut slowly, savoring each tantalizing kiss and hair tugging. The red haired siren had him completely under his spell and B didn’t want it any other way. Soft moans escape as he felt Alternative’s legs spread and wrap his soft limb around the others, pressing up against B in a grind. The heat growing between each others bodies like igniting a flame to create a forest fire deep within the lush wilderness. B’s hand, finger curling under the others chin to keep him level with his as the other arm embraced his small frame.
Such slow, hot grinding movements with each others body that left Backup trembling, squirming, moaning within the others mouth that engulfed him – sucked him in like a hungry void just as deep as those apocalyptic eyes B had as he slowly opened them to meet those gorgeous deep pool like blue… only to be greeted with something else. Something more sinister.
B’s face turned pale, the hot touch now growing rapidly cold and the need to get up was fierce but he was locked in place. His loving A, the one he seen as his angel from above to save him from the dark hell hole he had created for himself, was now rotting away at the seams.
The smile he held was familiar, but the maggots that infested him seemed to flow from the eye hole that seemed eaten away threw him into a panic. The skin he once knew now a ghastly grey and peeling off, showing bone underneath and what was once beautiful healthy and lively copper hair turned dull in color. This… This wasn’t real.
B finally scrambled, flailing as the clutch from his lost little love now digging nail deep into his skin, tearing them off as he broke free and fell off the bed. The room began to spin, the walls turning into decrepit floral that curled from the heat that the room was emitting. The shag carpet hot to the touch on his now sensitive skin. B’s hair, now longer and ragged instead of his styled shortness that spiked in the back. His pale perfect skin distorting and bubbling into a fleshy carcass on several sides as he lifted a quaking hand up to his face. A was now standing and the room now, was the room he had done his deed in. Alternative’s putrid and disfigured hand reached out towards B as he began to scream in pain yet he tried again and again to crawl away. Smoke filling the entire room with the smell of burning flesh in the air.
Yet, that hand seemed oh, so welcoming and he wanted to grip it so badly.
It was then he awoke within his cell. Orange jumpsuit clinging to him in drenching sweat as he screamed like an injured child. Screeched like a banshee looking for his way home to devour yet another soul.
The guards rushing to the cell door while he flailed endlessly, bits and pieces of dream still fluttering in and out of reality. Alternative standing at the doorway of the cell, glitching like a hologram before disappearing as if shutting off the television.
They were living proof of what tragedy can be bestowed upon the harmless. That pain was real. Pain was inevitable. Destruction was irreversible and no matter how hard Backup screamed, it wouldn’t make a difference.
——- Alternative was gone.
