- First bit of context to this is that it was pretty common at the time for alamarri humans and dwarves to marry and have children so there is a very significant chance that andraste is part dwarf
- Second bit of context is that sandal is believed to be a half dwarf Aeducan bastard, and he has clearly communed with a titan so you don’t have to be 100% dwarf to commune with a titan
- So with that in mind, the following screenshots are of the chant of light:
- The entity known as “The Maker” answered andrastes “call” while she was on a mountain
- The maker is described as “greater than mountains”
- The maker is referred to as the “wellspring of all”. The wellspring is the name of the location in the descent that the heart of the titan is in. The Slaughter of the Pillars revenant (the pillars being what the elves called the titans) in veilguard says “a wellspring drained”
- The makers children are “in darkness unbroken” and “shrouded in night”. The dwarves used to live above ground but fled underground when the titans were sundered. Similar language is used later in the chant to describe the magisters in the deep roads
- This is very similar to a vision Dagna has relating to the titans of being very very big
- Per The Calling where this is quoted, in this part of the chant the Maker has taken Andraste to a pool deep within the earth. Maric quotes it upon finding a similar pool. We now know these pools are locations deep within the body of a titan
- In an overheard conversation in Veilguard, Ghilan’nain mentions that in their prison she dreamed of “the songs of the living abyss”. The titans are the abyss.
- This is a vision Kordillus Drakon has, of Andraste telling him this on behalf of the maker. There were several drafts and I thing the full thing is a misunderstood prediction of the events of veilguard, but the important thing here is that there is a huge amount of respect for the titans, and very little for solas, which doesn’t work if the maker is an elven god (if Mythal, it would be the opposite, if any other, it would be disrespect for both) but does work if it’s a titan.
- The maker “called” Andraste
- I mean this one speaks for itself
I’ve discussed before my theories about Andraste being an OGB of Dumat and I still think that’s true and that explains the visions she had throughout her life. But then later in life when she meets an entity she calls the Maker, I think that Maker is a titan.
