Hi there Chicas,
Happy Sunday!!!. I am so very excited about this post. Yesterday was wash Day and I had so much fun with my tresses.
Letās get started.
Benefits of hot oil treatment
I started by taking down my weaves. I canāt believe I have had on them for a month. I was happy with the growth I had for the month with this Protective Style (1 inch) .
I proceeded to wash with Gentelle Hair fruits shampoo and condition with My Honey Child Conditioner. My hair was still in corn rows so I loosed the corn rows after washing.
I did an hot oil treatment first. For my oil mix, I mixed Coconut oil with Sesame oil, Palm kernel oil, Mustard seed oil, Castor oil, Hemp seed oil, Olive oil, Rosemary oil, Lavender oil, Tea tree oil and Peppermint oil in a bowl.
I boiled water and put the bowl with oil inside it to get it warm (not hot so you donāt burn your scalpš). I put my hair in 3 sections and rubbed the oil from scalp to tip before putting on a plastic bag for 10 minutes.
DC ingredients mixed together
I then deep conditioned using a mix of egg (with white and yolk) , Argan oil Hair treatment oil, Argan oil hydrating mask, Mayonnaise, Honey, a little Leave In conditioner from Beautiful Textures and a teaspoon of Apple Cider Vinegar.
Conditioner from My Honey child
I put the Deep Conditioner in each section of the hair and put a plastic bag on for another 15 minutes.
I then rinsed my hair and dried a little before doing Bantu knots. For my Bantu knots I used only Cantu Define and Shine Custard. I then air dried for the rest of the day.
I took down the still wet Bantu knots this morning and packed the hair ready for work.
I plan to do a Tea rinse this night using Green Tea, Black Tea and Camomile tea. And I make Crotchet braids tomorrow.
I hope you enjoy my wash Day ācause I did. Bye Chicas. Have a restful Sunday. ššššš
P. S. Ā I didnāt comb my hair. Ā I just finger detangled.
