Simple edible detergent pods recipe
I made a more advanced recipe here for all y’all that want something that looks more like a tide pod here, but that recipe is… intricate. So for all y’all who want just a simple detergent pod like these juicy looking packets, I’m here for you!
Two components: edible plastic and juicy inside
First, the Plastic:
Ingredients:
2 packets (14g) Knox unflavored gelatin
6 tbsp water
Parchment paper
rectangular brownie pan
optional: ½ tbsp 7up or sprite
Instructions:
Boil the water, add gelatin mix (optional: add soda for flavor). Stir in until mix is completely melted. Let cool slightly. Cover brownie pan with parchment paper, and pour a very thin layer of gelatin mixture onto parchment. Place brownie pan into fridge and let sit overnight until hardened.
The next day, the juicy inside:
Obtain your favorite flavor of jello. Follow the instructions on the jello mix to make the jello, but don’t put it in the fridge. Let cool until room temperature.
Put it Together:
Remove edible plastic from the fridge and gently remove plastic from parchment. Cut into 5x2″ rectangles. Fold rectangle in half to create 2x2.5″ rectangles. Seal together long ends and use indirect heat to melt sides together. Leave the short end open. Pour room temperature jello into pouch and seal final end with indirect heat. Let cool in fridge a few hours, and then enjoy.
If any of you guys really have feelings for tide pods please use this recipe and don’t eat the real detergent pod. Stay safe friends!
We have reached peak human-ing.

It has also been confirmed that the movie director for ‘The Rising’, Yoshitomo Yonetani, will not be returning back to the series as he twitted ‘he did not receive an offer to work on the project, and he will root for the staff and cast “as just an ordinary citizen.”

Hopefully the original director of the TV series and ‘The Beginning’ movie, Satou Keiichi, will be back directing the new series.
the most amazing of these i ever heard of, someone was crying because they didn’t think they’d be able to pay their bills that month, and someone said “what you have to do is just pick a day that you will always sit down and actually write out the checks”.
literally did not comprehend the idea that it could be a lack of funds, not a lack of free time.
recently i've realized how much "splaining" i've been subjected to. now gotta add richsplaining to the list.

Ave María
On September 20 we were hit by category 5 Hurricane María, with winds peaking at 155mph, that was 18 days ago. We are USA territory, but the response feom USA has been very slow. Supposedly cargo shipments arrived and are docked at the capital but people haven't received any government aid. They claim it's because there's no diesel fuel for trucks to deliver it. Store shipments have also not been delivered and it's been getting harder to find a store that sells canned food, batteries, candles, etc. The post office has also been sorting some things out so packages aren't being delivered to most towns. We have a population of 3.5 million citizens About 96% have no communication or power, and about 50% have no clean drinking water or water in their homes. Other countries whose refugees we hosted before had offered to help, but the USA denied it because of The Jones Act (which forbids other countries from doing commerce or shipping directly to PR without it going thru USA first). Right now there's been talk of The Jones Act being lifted for good but a new problem arises: the shipping system is undergoing changes and many places won't ship because of new regulations. We also have a curfew and stores close before sundown, since everyone's scared to get mugged (and people have been paying cash since card payments are down). We don't have security systems in homes in PR so break-ins are on the rise. There's also been people watching others withdraw money to later rob them. Every 1-2 days we have to make a long line under sun or rain just to withdraw cash from the bank, get gasoline or get ice to keep food from spoiling. And speaking of spoilage, most small supermarkets had meat and produce spoil and have limited stocks as do most stores that deal with food. The small priviledged area near the capital is probably the only area with reception, but it's been so crowded it's impossible to get fuel there. We have to spend gasoline to travel 3-4 towns away just to be able to message our loved ones that don't know how we're faring. Supplies are low in stores since new stocks haven't been delivered. Many areas haven't had garbage picked up yet. Most cleanup has been done by the community. Streets have been cleared of electrical posts and streets but theres plenty that are blocked or unusable. A new epidemy of dengue fever, meningitis, conjuctivitis, gastrointeritis and influenza, among others has sprouted because of the lack of hygene, bad quality of water and other products. Many people can't afford to go to the river since some are infested by gators, and there's already been deaths because of river rapids. Some people also lost their homes due to flooding and are still in shelters. Deaths have been under reported since communications are still down for most citizens. People who depend on machinery to stay alive are dying because of the lack of diesel to keep hospital machinery running or shortage of meds. There's also been a rise on suicides of people who didn't have food or clean water. Most people from the USA that have come over to PR to assess damages haven't gone to the most affected areas and stay in the wealthy towns of the metrpolitan area, meanwhile people keep suffering and getting sick. Trump came over to make distasteful comments about how our disaster is costing them too much and how it's not a "real disaster" because the death toll wasn't great, but the number is steadily rising. Every day is a struggle and we're a far shot from going back to normal any time soon. María levelled Puerto Rico and the infrastructure will take many more months to be restored. **Written in advance to post once signal came in**
