“Not a boy, for one,” Ludger muttered under his breath as he surveyed the still smoking scene. Ugh, the roof, again. Why couldn’t the weirdos in town ever aim for the barren planter-boxes, or the ugly shingles?

Hopefully this month’s earnings would be enough to cover the repairs... He didn’t want to resort to the local job boards.

“I doubt the beams can hold your weight for much longer, so you should probably move,” Ludger said, raising his voice, “Maybe you could meet the cops. On the other side of town. Before any other ‘incidents’ occur.”
