angel was happy to see a familiar face--- he probably shouldn’t have been wandering around alone when he was so sleepy, but he was starving and his body was practically begging him for some form of caffeine, so he’d headed out with the intent to find a coffee shop. “always good to be polite.” funny considering angel didn’t know what polite meant. or at the very least, it didn’t seem like it most of the time. “i’m afraid not.” he shrugs his shoulders, “i know mandarin. japanese uses a fair amount of hanzi, so i can sort of, kind of get the jist of what some signs mean, but they pronounce the characters completely differently, so i can’t actually say shit.” he shook his head, “you too ? millie keeps trying to get me to warm up to cats. she named a fuckin’ cat after me. i hate it.” no he didn’t, “... but i do need coffee, so i’ll reluctantly join you.”
