" i feel like a late shift is either REALLY LONELY or REALLY INTERESTING. one time i was doing a late shift, and my mind started making all these ideas of how the souls of the people that died were haunting the clinic and every gush of wind scared the crap out of me. “ that was because celeste had a very vivid imagination. it was her worst enemy and best friend in times like these. it kept her from going insane from boredom. the brunette loved stories. that much was obvious from having her nose stuck in a book whenever she wasn’t out causing some sort of mayhem and creating her OWN stories. with a little shrug, she popped some of the food into her mouth and picked up her book. displaying it proudly. “ wuthering heights ! it is SO good. have you read it ? “

Pushing his tools away, his gaze flickered over to his silent companion. He wasn’t really sure why she had stuck around to watch him go in circles and ultimately FAIL but she wasn’t doing any harm so he let it be. his brows furrowed in question as he ran long fingers through his hair made WILD from tugging at in thought. “in time for—??” he let the question linger as his eyes fell back onto the mess that his desk had become. cleaning might help him clear his head if she couldn’t.

Instead of feeling guilty that she knew very little about someone she worked in such close proximity with, Eva decided to look at this as an opportunity to remedy that a bit. “Did you just wrap up your shift or are you about to start?”
