brooklyn benjamin beauchamp was born to a lower class family . his mother ( bambi ) was a teenage runaway , working and going to school and living from her car . she fell in love with a boy ( anthony ) from the wrong side of the tracks ! when she was 7 months pregnant , anthony committed murder , robbing a store . he killed the clerk and a child and a mother, his father was found guilty and was sent to life in jail .
bambi beauchamp gave birth to a healthy baby boy , he was the spitting image of his father but nothing else . everything else he carries from his mother , her mannerisms &. attitude down to the t . everything that he could have wished for he got from him mom , clothes , shoes and even a car at the age of sixteen . even thought they didn’t have much , brooklyn was satisfied with everything his mother did . graduated valedictorian &. with a scholarship to play football he went to college but ended up going a different venture ; law school .
college was a whole different experience for brooklyn but never the less he exceeded in everything he tried out . meeting the girl of his dream , after college he married her and they resided in Boston. bought a house just a few hours away from his hometown . while working on a case he he got the unfortunate call that his wife had gotten into a car accident &. shortly after was established brain dead . his career had taken a toll , his life had no meaning until an old friend reached out and ushered him to make his way to the city that never sleeps , a job opportunity in the winds ready for him to take .
the thing is nothing ever comes so easy or is as easy for brooklyn beauchamp but who knows what this new venture might bring ——- maybe a good time or just more demons for him to deal with .
