james had very few friends on campus, at least very few that knew of the extra curricular activities he got up to. therefore, when he did find one he usually kept onto them, citing the good old ‘you know too much’ reason. ethan was one such friend, and they had managed to get up to too much trouble over the course of their friendship -- but it was what james enjoyed about his friendship with ethan. the man understood the need for trouble. knocking on ethan’s office door one evening, tie loosened and jacket slung over his shoulder he gave his friend a smile and enquiring look. “ready? hint: you don’t have a choice, the answer is yes james I am.”

Antonella had to take pictures for one of her photography task, so she took advantage of the beautiful day to take some pictures with her camera. When she observed the man focused on his papers, she couldn’t avoid raise her camera, but before she could take a picture the Peruvian heard his words “Oh, I’m sorry, I wanted to take you a picture, you look so relax and the light it’s perfect.”

“Oh? Peaceful?” he replied, anything but given the nature of what he was reading, another dull paper that was obviously badly researched, and badly referenced.  He just wanted to skip and write fail across the whole thing.

a mischievous glint lit up the man’s eyes as he glanced up at the woman, “the ... campus. is very beautiful.” he replied playfully. “whereabouts are you looking to go?”

awinita’s brows furrowed as the man didn’t even look at her, a low hum bubbling in her throat. “it would be a lot easier for you to help me if you gave me your attention,” she replied, clasping her hands in front of her. “i came to introduce myself. i’ve seen you around the professor lounge but i don’t even know what department you’re in.”

james felt a smirk tug at his lips, and he finally glanced up from his papers as he took in the woman’s appearance before him. “depends if you’re going to say something worth my interest.” he replied with a playful grin, “james adler. law, and yourself?”

“Hmm, it can’t be because they want to give you an education.” he mused, barely glancing up from his book. “No, they just want to ruin your weekend.”

Charles was feeling a bit off lately, he didn’t know why that was, but it was becoming a bit more obvious to him. He was taking a break, out in the quad area, sitting underneath a tree, just taking in the warm air. He had his eyes closed, and was humming a tune. He didn’t realize how loud he had gotten till he heard a stick cracking, and he looked up to see someone standing there. “Oh, I’m sorry, did I disturb you? Or did you need me for something?”

James was taking advantage of the still warm days and had taken to reading his book outside for a breather from marking papers, procrastinating the inevitable moment where he’d have to go inside and talk to students or actually mark their work. When he heard the noise of the dean though he glanced up, prepared to ignore him until it got too much and he sighed and got up to walk towards the entrance of the building. Yet he stepped on the twig and winced a little as he realised it had caught him attention, “Not at all.--” he began before he cut himself off, “A little, but I should be getting in anyway.”
