Yeah, it looks great. ❞ She nodded her head with a smile. She knew that Bonnie and Caroline would want to get together and light a lantern together. ❝ It will be beautiful at night. ❞

Aurora raised a curious eyebrow, her lips pressed together to suppress anything but a polite smile. She did try not to be rude most days. "My apologies, I didn't mean to spook you," the vampire spoke. It hardly seemed rational to think nobody else would be around, given the nature of what came with preparations, but no reason to come out and say it. "It will," Aurora nodded in agreement. Seeing everything lit up was her favorite part. "I imagine you'll be lighting one or two yourself?"

It was like clockwork for Elena. Every year Caroline was roping her into more things to help with to keep traditions alive. It wasn't like she didn't mind it sort of made her laugh softly as she unpacked a couple of the lanterns onto a table in the town square.

Aurora had been helping set up all day - it was, in part, her job, but she loved this time of year. Busy hands and all, and she enjoyed the way it looked at night. She let out a delighted squeal to herself as everything started to come together. "Oh, it all looks so lovely already, doesn't it?" She mused, setting the lanterns in her hands down on the table. "Nightfall can't get here fast enough."

     ❝Aurora.❞ Hope greeted simply. ❝I’m here… for help with wedding flower arrangements.❞

    Her eyebrow raised curiously in response. “A wedding - yours, I take it? Congratulations.” Aurora smiled slightly as she nodded. “Did you have anything specific in mind, or were you needing to get acquainted with some options first?”

     It wasn’t often that Kai was a romantic but when he saw the flower shop he found himself walking inside.

    “Welcome in,” Aurora chimed as she stepped through to the front of her shop and to the counter, rearranging one of the displays beside her. “Are you picking anything up or merely looking around?”

     Looking at a couple of the flowers, Riley spotted a rose that still had thorns on it, finding her mind go numb as her finger pierced into it awaiting for the service.

   Aurora smelled the blood before she even left the store room, schooling her veins to keep them from protruding. It wasn’t her favorite thing to suppress, but she was at work. “Is everything alright out here?” She asked as she stopped in the doorway.

     All Kol wanted to do was to get in and out of there as quick as possible as he poked around at some flowers.

   “Ah. Kol. What a surprise.” She said as she stepped through the door to the back of the shop and up to the counter. So far as Mikaelsons were concerned, Aurora didn’t have half as many reservations with him as some of his siblings - she was still careful, of course. “Anything catch your eye?” The redhead vampire asked, nodding towards the displays near him.

Every so often Elena liked to pick up flowers for her parents grave and today was one of those days when she walked in ❝Thanks.❞ She spoke waiting for her arrival.

As Aurora stepped into the front of the shop, her lips pressed together as she took in the doppleganger. She didn’t have a great amount of experience with any of them, so it was always a guessing game. “Elena, I take it? Do I have that right?” Aurora questioned. Being stuck with all of them, it had gotten a little easier. Not by much. “What brings you in?”

damon salvatore.

deciding to surprise his wife with a flower of bouquet at work, damon entered the flower shop before glancing around. never was he known to do any grand, romantic gestures but for elena, he would do anything. even the sappiest things like these. “sure, no stress”, he called back to whom he assumed was surely the owner, slowly walking around to inspect each flower, trying to imagine how the bouque should be looking like.

Aurora hummed quietly to herself as she finished up what she was doing. She always did best staying busy, especially when by herself - which she would be most of the day, so far as work was involved. Tapping her pen against the paper one more time, she set it down and moved back towards the front. “Thank you for waiting.” It hadn’t been long, but she did her best to stay professional when she was at work. “What can I do for you?”

For some reason Jayce didn’t know where the voice came from as he quickly turned his head in the direction shocked before calming himself down. “No rush!” He called out to just be polite.

Aurora took the time to check over her work again, ensuring all of the inventory was at it should be. Then she set it aside and headed out front. “Welcome in.” She smiled, “are you looking for anything particular today?”

Alaska wished that it was one of her brothers that were picking up flowers that her dad ordered but here she was walking in with her arms over her chest.

“Hello,” Aurora chimed as she stepped back into the front of the shop, a polite smile on her face as she leaned against the counter slightly. “How can I help you?”

     Walking into Aurora’s flower shop, she had been trying to figure out the flower arrangement for awhile and was almost giving up at this point.

   Aurora looked over the work in front of her one more time before setting it aside and going towards the front of the shop. “Oh, hello, little Mikaelson.” She greeted. “What can I do for you?”

Upon entering, Caroline heard Aurora speak but simply just looked to the flowers as her eyes assessed each one.

“Is anything in particular calling out to you?” Aurora asked as she stepped out of the store room and behind the counter, letting her eyes find Caroline.
