no bitter end
they say it's all over for you, but it's only the beginning
it's not the end of this cursed world, but it sure feels like one
damn those vultures who want you dead
damn those murderers who aim for your head
decimation is the best option and you know it
/
i ain't ever gonna stop loving you
even if the sky is crumbling down
and the earth's not on your side
watching two worlds collide
i ain't ever gonna stop loving you
even if this hall comes crashing down
and you're buried beneath the pile
slipping away with a smile
/
it's pathetic how their voices are louder
when they hide behind aliases and disguises
they don't know you at all, what you've done to survive
all the blood, sweat, and tears that you've lost to stay alive
their rhetorics are venomous and you know it
/
i ain't ever gonna stop loving you
even if the sun is dying out
and the moon refuses to fade
watching two lights decay
i ain't ever gonna stop loving you
even if the flood swallows you out
and you're underneath the waves
joining the mass graves
/
now is the time
to temper you in the fire that makes you stronger
and show them what you're made of
unleash the fighter in your soul
demolish everything that comes your way
/
one day we will see each other again
but this time, no bitter end awaits
and all your shattered pieces will be undone
Or perhaps in Slytherin you’ll make your real friends,               Those cunning folks use any means to achieve their ends.
have you seen that man
who destroyed his girlfriend's bike?
imagine all that damage, tenfold
that's what i'm capable of,
thanks to you

There are 3 brands of character songs, any song you associate with a character will fit one or more of these categories:
1. The lyrics fit
2. The song just carries those Character Vibes, often times inexplicably, regardless of lyrics
3. You really liked that song at the same time you liked the character
These are the facts
4. Exactly one lyric in the entire song fits, but it fits so well you’re going to keep the song anyways
watching an actress in full makeup pretend to wash her face and then pat dry her still fully contoured cheeks for an acne wash commercial
when i was 13 i had no idea what make up looked like on. media literacy is important
I especially like the makeup remover ads where she takes off her lipstick, to reveal lighter lipstick underneath.
or the commercials for razors with women shaving their already baby smooth, waxed legs
This is such a surreal, dystopian thing about our culture. We literally treat the natural female body like its obscene. No wonder girls grow up with so much self loathing when they feel as if their own skin is incorrect.
this one's more common in asian cosmetics ads - growing up seeing commercials of "whitening" products where women with light, somewhat dull skin use a moisturizer or cream and suddenly their skin becomes 3 shades lighter than their already pale complexion

The Perfect Kiss
me: i'll never love again is such a silly song to end a star is born. ally is still young in the music industry and can find another love someday. she deserves a better lover than someone who pretty much ruined her reputation. he did love her, he only wanted the best for ally, he apologised and tried to make up for his mistakes, and helped her realise her dream so he wasn't a shitty person after all, but he wasn't the best for her.
also me: DONT WANNA FEEL ANOTHER TOOOOOUCH DONT WANNA START ANOTHER FIIIIREEEEE *uncontrolled sobs at I'll Never Love Again*
broken fortress
a child with no living parents is called an orphan.
but there's no word for an extended family that has ceased to exist not because of death, but because of unsolved problems and internal conflicts that end up destroying everyone in it to the point that some of the members filed for a divorce, too broke to sustain a family, stopped coming to gatherings, and no longer keep in touch with everyone else until the family only exists in mementos and official documents.
the worst part is that everyone's still alive. they just stop being nice to each other. they just stop believing in each other. they just stop growing up as one. and it feels wrong to refer to them as strangers, yet it doesn't feel right to call them "family" anymore.
one day, it's christmas or any other holidays that you're supposed to spend with your relatives. but the dining table at your grandparents' stays empty, and only god knows whether it will remain that way forever.
can you just stop
forcing archaic dreams left unchased
and let me carve my own way to greatness?
- my life was never meant to be an extension of yours
so i just joined this online project and i find it fascinating that twenty strangers from various corners of the world could be united in our passion for something we love, pulled through time constraints and hassles to produce a masterpiece that left us in tears as it premiered.
meanwhile in college, it's a miracle if all four students in a group could contribute and finish something on time.
the way teenagers are presented in media is so fucking funny like u think this is how sixteen year olds speak. do u think they really communicate in dramatic monologues and deep metaphors and references to great literature. half my high school didn’t know what a metaphor was.
We can’t change the way people think of and behave towards us, it’s beyond our control. But we can decide whether or not it will affect ourselves.
(A typical INTJ quote)
when you told someone who's technically a stranger that you love them and it felt more sincere than the countless "i love you" that you've said to your supposed "loved ones" in the past twenty years
last night i had a dream so pleasant it broke my heart to wake up. i was looking forward to start the day with the people who appeared in my dreams but then i remembered it wasn't real :(
