“well i’m sure that when the time comes you two will have much to chat about,” he stated with a smile. “i do actually, i have seven siblings that live close by. most of which who still live with my mother, i have a brother that has his own lodgings and another brother that loves to travel but the other five are under her watchful eyes,” anthony stated fondly.

      A smile encompasses her, taking a moment to think quietly. She only hopes the future is bright, fearing that perhaps an arranged marriage is on the horizon. “Seven? That seems an awful lot to handle.” She chuckles, turning her attention to him. “But I imagine brings a lot of happiness along with it.” She had never had a large family, so could not relate, but somewhat envied such things.

"i’ll leave those for the ladies who need guards. i only have mine for looks, if i am completely honest.”   is it princess like to have a dagger against her thight ?  or poisoned hair pins locked in her hair ?  no,  perhaps not.  but she comes from a world where anyone is willing to  kill  her on her brother’s command,  guards or not,  and she must stay prepared for it all.   "empress in my case.“   because forget marrying into royalty,  she wanted her family taken down.   "either way, queens and empresses should not be tamed, or they would never get anything done.”

      She nodded slowly, choosing not to push it further. It appeared the princess in front of her was a rebellious spirit, and she would not judge for that. “I see.” She smiled, tilting her head. She was unaware and nodded as such. “Empress, sorry -- I did not realise.” She smiled, tilting her head. “I think time will teach many that we cannot be tamed, and until that time, we will challenge the norms and values.”

“aye she will be but a man will still miss what he loves most when it is so far from his grasp,” he commented softly. there was nothing but fondness in him whenever his thoughts drifted to that of kate sharma, she would always bring the dopey and goofy smile to his face even when he tried to keep it down. “i would be happy to accompany you to the stalls, it would be a nice change of pace,” he tagged on with a small smile. waking at her side he nodded slowly and pursed his lips ever so slightly, “sometimes an uneventful day can lead to the best kinds of days, and we shall hope for your cousins swift arrival.”

      She was happy for him, for love knew no bounds. She however, only hopes she has the same in her future. “I understand.” She smiled gracefully, sighing as she did. She was appreciative of him , knowing her guards would give her some space, of which was appreciated. “Thank you, your company is appreciated.” She smiled, leading the way in her stride. “I suppose so, my cousin has been her for a few weeks, so it would be nice to catch up with her. Do you have family close by?” She asked with a smile.

She narrows her gaze, immediately intrigued by the ladies statement. “I feel perhaps the status goes to their head, admittedly, those of lower classes make more effort to impress.”

“yes they do say that and as much as i would love to believe that i would just rather have her at my side,” he sighed fondly as he thought about who his fiancee was actually with. “but enough about my sappiness, i could go on long enough that you’d get sick of it all, how have you been? anything exciting lined up for yourself for the day or are you simply awaiting for that moment to come to you?”

She understood how couples often felt lost without the other, and found this rather sweet in the Viscount and his significant other. She hoped one day she would gain a similar level of companionship. “I am sure she will be with you swiftly, until then, would you like a distraction? I was thinking of heading to the stalls, investing in a cake or two?” She chuckled, tilting her head with a smile. “My day has been uneventful and continues to be still -- I hope to see my cousin, Annabelle whenever she appears, but this is all.”

“with that being said has anyone come along and tried for your affections? anyone you could potentially see a future with?” his voice was soft and not pushy as he turned his gaze back towards her. “‘tis not a bad place to be, ever since i moved here i have found it enjoyable,” pausing he thought back to when he moved and shrugged, “it’s only been a few years for myself and then my brother and sister seemed to have made the journey themselves i suppose they couldn’t let me have all the fun.”

      The question posed made her laugh softly, shaking her head in return. “Sadly not, I am not doing so well in that department.” She exhaled, shrugging her shoulders. She would pretend it does not bother her, but the expectations upon a princess to marry was high, and demanding. “Though there is time, I suppose.” She smiled weakly, hoping to deter the conversation. “I am glad to hear you and your family have settled well, family is very important, and it is good you are close.”

 "and my guards know better than to tell me what to do."   the bonuses,  she supposes,  of a family who doesn’t really  care  about her wellbeing.  so long as ji-won gets done what they want done,  they’ll turn a blind eye to just about anything.  and london ?well,  it’s not like she plans to return,  even if by some off chance she does get married.   "the rules are in place for a reason, i agree. but i deem those rules moot. besides, if my guards cannot keep up with me, that is on them. it is their reputation on the line, not mine.”

      A smirk raised to the girls lips, it appeared they were more alike than she realised. “Maybe you need to invest in a faster guard.” She mused, eyes portraying amusement, but also familiarity to such a statement. “i like to believe princess’ cannot be tamed, especially those preparing to be future queens.”

"if you did not, i would have to question your teachers.”of course,  she had been the one to study up on her own,  but she’d dare not blame a princess for her education.   hums,  head tilts to the side.   "i am intimidatingenough without a shadow, i would not like to place the others out of ease.“

      “ my teachers know better than to try and tame me at this point.” she exhaled, sighing as she did. “in truth, i needed a moment, my guard will surely find me shortly.” she added, tilting her head. the ladies comment made her curious, brows raising in response. “intimidating maybe, but this does not excuse you from the royal rules.”

“yes i am also sure that we will be wed in no time not that either one of us would complain about it in any way,” he stated with a dopey smile sliding across his face. in all honesty for anthony the sooner the better, he couldn’t wait to get his life started with kate and see where their roads would take them. he couldn’t wait to wake up every moment with her at his side. “she is actually off with a friend of hers, taking in the social time,” he tagged on avoiding the thought of her spending time with colby.

      She was truly happy for them, the evidence of content was on his face and it appeared this lady made him truly happy. She was sort of envious for such happiness, not having yet experienced it herself. She knew time would tell but she felt she would end up in a marriage of mere convenience. “I see, I am sure she will enjoy the time, and as they say -- distance makes the heart grow fonder.” She reassured with a smile.

“i am almost certain that if spirits continue to be this light and well faired that we will have some couples come about after this all comes to an end,” he chimed in with an agreeing tone as he looked at the other. and he only said that simply because he would be returning to the own one that he cared deeply for the moment he got the chance too. “are you enjoying yourself so far?”

      she was happy to see some agreement , noticing a note of tension in the air from some unrequited couples. she was aware that the bidding had spurred some scandals. “i do hope so, it is rather sweet to see.” she mused with a small smile on her lips. “i am thank you, i have not been in london long but it is nice to meet new people.” she smiled, shrugging her shoulders. “what about yourself?”

        the other princess speaks,  and it’s clear to ji-won that she’s not yet tainted.  the raven haired woman wishes her all of the best in such a world,  truly.   “that is one way to consider this, yes,”   ji-won hums in consideration,  observing the view.   “princess, is your future betrothed here as well? you should not be standing here alone."   says the princess that  is  here alone.

     upon hearing the ladies words, esme’s eyes flickered away for a moment before returning to her. “i’d have to have a future betrothed, besides -- i know who you are, and you are not escorted either.” she smirked, tilting her head. “what is your excuse?”

“…i suppose.” isabella spoke carefully, her mood still soured by the idea of another courting the person she was involved with. “perhaps, though i’ve seen my fair share of princes, and not many are as charming as they appear.”

     she noted the females tone, eyes following hers to fixate upon a man -- she chose not to ask too many questions. “i feel that is true, they often expect too much, and give too little.”

he appreciated her words but she did not know the ones he spoke of. she did not know his family and how they handled things. she did not know how intensely protective he was of his siblings even if he did not voice it often. “think as you may but as head of the household it is duty to make sure that they do not have to do such a thing, that i shall always be there to step in when needed,” he replied with a small shrug. he took his duty seriously even if he did lack in some parts. “thank you, it is quite exciting. i don’t think either one of us expected it to happen but we couldn’t be happier,” he expressed as a fond smile crossed his lips, “we hope to be wed soon, though i’m sure our mothers will make sure it comes sooner than we think it will.”

      the way his eyes lit up at mentioning his future wife, it was sweet to see the transition from angered, to softened. she however, could not relate, she had not felt such an adoration towards another -- if anything, she was slightly envious. “if mothers have their way, then i am sure you’ll be wed in no time.” she imagined that such an occasion required a lot of planning, and thus may take more time. “where is your wife to be?” she inquired with a smile, tilting her head to gaze around the perimeter.

anthony couldn’t help but give a small scoff and a shake of his head, he appreciated her words but when one moment had already happened he was concerned for his sisters. he was worried for daphne, even though luis was one of his closest friends he hated how the other won daphne’s basket. “i would agree with you if one of my sisters had not already been slightly burned by the one who bought her basket,” he explained with a small sigh. “i’m sure my day will be much better the second i have my bride to be back at my side, though the day is treating you well?”

      she noted him loosen up slightly, being thankful that she had not tainted the conversation with her previous optimism. she was thankful to ignore such things. she however, did sympathise that he was uncomfortable with some men of the ton. “i can imagine that is uncomfortable, but us ladies are strong, i am sure your sister will put him in his place.” she smiled, tilting her head. “i suppose congratulations are in order -- is this a new engagement?” she pried, a smile on her lips. “i have merely just arrived, i live in scotland normally, but it is nice to indulge.”
