keep thinking about how I wrote in my dissertation about how every time a new form of public/social space emerges it's immediately popular with kids and teenagers who see it as a chance at freedom and then adults colonise it and kick them out. this happened with malls in the 80s and diners in the 50s and pool halls in the 20s. my dad was doing research on this trend in like 1975. and I was like "yeah so this is going to happen to the internet" and then five years later every government suddenly decided to ban kids from everywhere online. I hate being right especially when I don't even get paid for it

hi I've been gone for a hot minute, BUT since Stranger Things season 5 has released my ST hyperfixation has returned, and I have a fanfic in the works. You see, I saw a comment talking about how Vecna seems to have a fixation with the Wheelers (favoring Holly s5, showing Nancy the vision in s4, etcetc) and it all snowballed from there.
Basically I'm giving the Wheelers (minus Ted) powers. I'm currently planning on doing a full show rewrite, and I'm wondering if thats appealing to anyone. As well, I also want ideas for things to happen in the fic. Power ideas are welcome as well.
And, of course, I will give credit if I utilize any ideas!
The prologue and chapter 1 are up for those that are curious!

Okay so I've never seen The First Shadow, and I don't really plan to include a whole lot of the lore from it in my fic, considering I have a good amount of lore already planned.
However, those who have seen the play/know a lot about it, is there anything you think is super duper important that I should add?
