You weren’t sure where you were headed. Not at the moment at least. You had sprinted down the stairs from the roof- skipping multiple steps at a time, you somehow managed to not fall flat on your face. You shot passed people in the halls- you were determined to get far away from this building- far away from the- well now two men who were causing you turmoil. You're sure you looked ridiculous- a girl dressed in autumn clothing, as red as a tomato sprinting down the halls of this large building.
You didn’t have time to explain. Not for anyone. You continued your sprint straight past the art studio- that was your next class, and an all too familiar smile fell to concern, as soon as you breezed past him. You didn’t look back as he watched you disappear over his shoulder.
What had happened? Were you ok? Why were you so frantic? Sol couldn’t stop the worry from bubbling up inside him, he looked back to where you had come and spotted the root of your panic.
Crow sauntered down the stairs, and all to satisfied grin on his features. Had he done something to you?
“I don’t suppose… you know what happened with (y/n)... do you?” Sol didn’t want to sound accusatory- Crowe was your friend- someone you had come to trust, so he had to trust your judgement.
“Ah, well-” Crowe could feel his cheeks grow warm- and his smirk grew. “I’m not one to kiss and tell.” he paused letting his words sink in, “But I guess I just did.” His smirk continued to grow as he saw a frown form on Sol’s face.
With that Sol turned on his heel, and began to walk in the direction you ran. He had done something- and Sol wasn’t quite sure about your reaction. Was it a good thing? A bad thing? Secretly- the smallest bit of him had hoped you were disgusted by the notion. He began to pick up his pace after he had rounded the corner- out of Crowe’s sight. He was worried about you of course, he would always worry about you. But right now his main focus was finding you.
It wasn’t long after he had left the school itself he had thought he caught sight of you. You were laid on your back in the park across from your favorite cafe- staring at the sky. He assumed you hadn’t arrived long before him, he could still see your chest heaving from your mad dash. For a moment he just watched you- he could still see the blush that remained present on your face. Your hair sprawled out on the ground as you watched the clouds pass by. He noticed you were taking a deep breath before-
“I HATE MEN!” Your shout had attracted some looks, as well as scared some birds away. Sol chuckled at your declaration, making his way across the street. Soon enough he stood looking down at you, your eyes didn’t meet his, as he spoke.
“Is it alright if I join you?” He smiled down at you, you just nodded. You heard the leaves shuffle as he sat next you, eventually he let himself fall onto his back, looking at the sky as well. You all just laid there and looked at the sky in silence, for a while at least. “Are you alright?” his question came out, and you let yourself think about it. Were you alright? You weren’t sure. Everything recently had just become so… Complicated. First with Sol- now with Crowe. You were sure everything would be fine, right now though you just needed to figure it out.
“Yeah… I think so at least.” You could still feel the flush on your face. You looked at Sol from the corner of your eye. He was looking at you- he was smiling but it didn’t quite reach his eyes. His perfect, pretty eyes- on his perfect, pretty face. You let out a dreamy sigh before he began speaking again.
“So- you and Crowe huh?” he still held the same- somewhat sad look in his eyes.
“What about ‘me and Crowe’.” your face fell- that was the last thing you were trying to think about, your complicated romantic feelings for Sol were enough- but now- now you weren’t sure how you felt about Crowe either. You closed your eyes and enjoyed the warmth of the sunlight on your face. Crowe had kissed you. You had let him kiss you. You maybe even kissed him back- but that was something you weren’t gonna think about. You weren’t going to think about that was the first time someone had romantically kissed you- or the fact that you could feel your heartbeat in your ears when it happened. No you weren't going to think about any of that. Not at all.
“You kissed-” Sol was startled as you shot up into a seated position. HOW DID HE KNOW THAT!? You could feel your blush spread to your ears again, and your breathing hitched in your throat.
So the two of you had kissed, you hadn’t denied it.
Your thoughts began to race, how did Sol know that? Was he there? No - there was no way he would’ve seen you without you seeing him. Did… Did Crowe tell him? You felt your heart start to crack again. Had he really done all that just to mess with your feelings? To get back at Sol for some unknown reason? But the way he looked at you… he couldn’t fake that could he? Or could he? Today he hadn’t followed you- hell he almost always followed you like a lost puppy since the day you met- yet- today was different. He hadn’t come to check on you- was this really all just a game?
“So,” Sol cleared his throat, drawing you back from your frantic thoughts. “Are you guys- together?” You blinked at his question. Crowe had kissed you, maybe you kissed him back. But judging by how you were feeling now, it was nothing. It was not nothing to you of course- it just made you more confused than ever. However- seeing as he wasn’t here maybe it was nothing to him.
“No. Absolutely not.” you stated firmly. Your feelings were definitely hurt- but that didn’t matter. Maybe you had started to have the teeniest tiniest crush on the guy- but that was over now. You were sure of it. You saw Sol visibly relax, it was like a flood of relief washed over him. You smiled at his reaction, there it was- that flutter in your chest. Something you would only acknowledge when it was caused by Sol.
You decided.
Nothing was gonna stop you this time- or maybe something would. Maybe it would work if you put it a different way? The universe always seemed to know when to interrupt if you were too direct.
“Sol- I-” you stopped yourself, as his eyes glanced up at you- again the urge to kiss him overtook you- but you held strong! Rephrase (Y/n).
“So… There's this guy. I like him. Like a lot.” you started, he sat up so he could meet your gaze as you spoke. “I’ve known him… for a while now, and the feelings have been around almost as long.” you saw his cheeks start to turn pink. There was no way he didn’t know you were talking about him. He was one of what? Three? People you knew from here- and one you disliked and the other you had known for a total of two weeks. You could feel the heat on your face begin to grow as you continued.
“Every time I look at him-” you paused, looking away, the eye contact was a bit intense with everything you were saying. “My heart flutters. A-and he’s just... So pretty and amazing and-” you felt his hand brush against yours, and you could get the message, you slowly intertwined your fingers with his, before falling back on to your back, continuing to ramble on.
“He’s like the smartest guy I know- But also a massive idiot. Maybe the dumbest man on earth.” you glanced over at him, he was watching you quietly, and his eyes- oh how he was looking at you, you’re sure you would combust. The way he was looking at you- it was how Crowe had- no. NO. this was not about that jerk.
You felt Sol’s thumb run over the back of your hand. You looked away, taking a deep breath. “He’s just so talented, and kind, and wonderful-” It was like your brain was split. You wanted to think about Sol- of course you did, but as you spoke memories of you and Crowe began to appear too.
You weren’t going to acknowledge that right now. Maybe not ever. “And he looks out for me. He does nice things for me. And- I think… I think I'm in love with him.” you finished, and glanced over at the man beside you, he was grinning ear to ear- his face a rosy red. He chuckled, and shifted his gaze on your face, in that moment you could swear he wanted to kiss you. You wouldn’t mind that.
“Well, I'm sure he feels the same way about you.” was… was that it? There was no way he didn’t know you were talking about him- there was no way. You had just confessed everything to him, and all he had to say was essentially ‘ditto’. Maybe you did hate men after all. You did your best to hide your disappointment. Sure- you hadn’t said it outright, because every time you tried the universe decided to fuck you over. I mean- it did kind of confirm how he felt about you? What if he really thought you were talking about someone else? there was no way - there was no way. You got up- your hand still intertwined with Sol’s you had released your grip- but his hadn’t wavered. He stood beside you, as you both brushed the dirt and dust that you had collected among yourselves.
“I- I’m gonna head home.” You nodded in the direction of your apartment.
“I’ll walk you.” He still hadn’t released your hand. He grabbed your new bag- the one Crowe had got you- and tossed it on his shoulder. That was that you supposed. You walked in silence- hand in hand, on the way back to your apartment. You could see the blush on Sol’s cheeks- you were sure yours were the same. You could tell you were getting glances- were people assuming you were a couple? Were you a couple? No- though your feelings had been stated Sol and you hadn’t broached the subject of dating- or anything like that. You eventually arrived at the door to your apartment building. You turned ready to take your bag from Sol when something -a miracle even- happened. His lips met your forehead. He was- technically- kissing you. You felt your face burst into a bright red. He pulled back and smiled at you, it was loving.
“I’ll see you tomorrow, (Y/n).” he handed you your bag, and waited for you to enter your apartment building. As soon as you had you sprinted up the stairs- straight to your door and hurriedly unlocked it. You let your bag fall to the ground as you giddy flung yourself on to the couch. You screamed into one of your pillows- kicking your feet like a school girl. Was today even real!? Not one- but two! TWO hot men had kissed you! You felt yourself deflate at the thought. Then your irritation began to grow.
What the hell? WHAT THE HELL!? Had both of them played you like a fool today? First one kissed you to piss the other off- and then the second had- not outright accepted nor rejected your confession- but waltzed around it?!
That was it. You were swearing off men. Forever. You screamed into your pillow again, this time out of frustration. You heard a knock at your door- you chose to ignore it. There were like a total of two people who knew where you lived- and you didn’t want to see either of them right now. Then the knock came again. You groaned into the pillow you had buried your face in, before peeling yourself off the couch and making your way to the door. You took in a deep breath, and opened the door.
“What?” Your voice was pointed. You didn’t care who was there- all they needed to know is that you didn't want them there. Your nose wrinkled at the sight of the brunette man, you were honestly hoping for it to be the other option- you were still pissed at both of course, but you were more angry with him. He had played his role so well- and you had fallen for it, a teasing gentleman if you will. Was ever even actually your friend? You had no idea- nor did you want to know.
“Woah- “ He held his hands up to show he meant no harm. You rolled your eyes, and pinched the bridge of your nose.
“What? What do you want?” your voice was still full of hostility- you had done a 180 from earlier this afternoon- that was for sure. What had happened at the park? I mean he got the gist of it- he had been there- doing his best from strangling Brugmansia on sight- but you were fine up until you had gone to your apartment- hell you were even giddy then. He reached in his back pocket and pulled out something all too familiar to you- your phone!
“You dropped this at the park.” he said, holding it out for you to take. He had been at the park? Had he seen everything with Sol- why were you worried about that? But… he had come after you? You felt a blush begin to rise to your cheeks. He had come after you- so you were mad at him for no reason- so does that mean when- he was serious? He wasn't teasing you again- or at all when he kissed you.
You could feel the blush start to reach your ears as you shifted under his gaze. A small smile sat on his lips, you were just… so cute! You could see that look in his eyes again. The same one Sol had earlier. Was Crowe… in love with you? You could feel your already burning cheeks grow hotter at the thought. That wasn’t possible! You barely knew each other. But the way he was looking at you, made you doubt that reality at the same time. You cleared your throat, before finally speaking up.
“I- thank you… and sorry… about before.” you closed your eyes and rubbed the back of your neck, the smallest smile you could muster making its way to your face. He smiled back at you. You both obviously needed to talk- so you took a step back and opened the door slightly wider.
“Uh… would you like to… come in?” it took you a moment to find the words, you stuttered and it was violently awkward. Crowe’s smile grew into a grin as he nodded and took a step inside. You closed the door behind him and ushered him over to the couch. He sat on one end- and you sat on the stark other. Your face remained a vibrant pink as you both sat there, the air thick with an awkward silence.
“Listen- Starlight-” he took a deep breath and shook the jitters out of his bones. “I shouldn’t have just… kissed you… earlier. I should’ve made sure you were comfortable first- but in the moment- when you said I had been joking about all that stuff. Well I kind of lacked my better judgement.” You blinked, staring at him, was he… apologizing? For kissing you? So the gentlemanly thing wasn’t entirely an act. “Not that I wouldn’t kiss you again given the chance- There’s a lot I would do given the chance- just as long as you’re ok with it” you blushed at the insulation, his cheeks were pink as well as he chuckled at his awkwardness. “I’d have to think about it.” Did you really just say that? You hid your face behind your hands. You HAD just said that. The air now held a different kind of tension. It was palpable, you were sure your neighbors could feel it through the walls at this point. You could see Crowe looking at you in the corner of your eye, and you saw him shift ever so slightly closer. Maybe you did the same. And maybe it happened a couple of more times. You felt his thigh brush against yours ever so lightly, there was no more room to scoot closer, you were basically on top of each other. You could still see him, now looking down at you, it was as if you could see the hearts forming in his eyes.
This is the closest proximity your bodies had ever been in, you could smell him- Cedar and bourbon- and cigarettes. You were aware he smoked, but you had never noticed the smell lingering on him till now. You took a shaky breath, slowly turning to the man who had been staring into the side of your head- This would take all the confidence you could ever muster, but you believed in yourself.
You looked up at him through your eyelashes, This was it!
You began to lean in, letting your eyes flutter closed. It took Crowe no time to meet your lips with his. You were kissing him, for the second time today. You felt his arms slowly wrap around you and pull your body closer to his, so much so that you both toppled over. Now you were on top of him, kissing him. You pulled back and adjusted your positioning before kissing him again. You could feel the heat from your cheeks and tips of your ears, but that was something you’d think about later. You could feel his lip piercings as you kissed him, they weren’t super noticeable- but they were there.
Crowe was ecstatic- this development was certainly unexpected, but it pleased him none the less. Here he was- invited into your apartment- on your couch- and now you were on top of him- kissing him! The thought alone could get him off- but now- now he was here- in this reality. You pulled away from him- your eyes opening lazily, he was disappointed - but you were just catching your breath before your lips met his again.
You could feel him grinning as you continued to make out. Every once in a while you would adjust your positioning while kissing him- this couch simply was not built for this! Every time you pulled away- if you didn’t reinitiate- he would. It had to have been at least an hour by the time you pulled away- and began to sit up. You hadn’t realized- but at some point during your make out session the positioning changed to have you straddling his hips. You weren’t sure if your face could grow any hotter- but if it could you would be letting off steam. You looked down at Crowe. He looked at you so… Lovingly. You turned your head away in embarrassment. You weren’t sure what exactly had come over you. Not that you hadn’t enjoyed it! This was… more than nice.
“You know (Y/n)... seeing you on top of me like this is pretty sexy.” And there was the Crowe you knew and hated. That was a bit of an exaggeration, but still! You guessed you liked him. This certainly would not have happened- if you didn’t like him. With that said and done you began to try and get up- until you felt something prod against your ass. You saw Crowe’s face twist when it happened and you swore you could die right then. That was part of him. You quickly shuffled off him and apologized, he chuckled and sat up, rubbing the side of his neck.
“I wasn’t lying when I said it was sexy-” you kept yourself facing away from him, though you hadn’t made much distance on the couch, just enough for him to get comfortable. You honestly wanted to strangle him- sure he could control how his body reacted- that wasn’t his fault. HOWEVER he did not need to say that.
You continued to keep your back facing him, and you heard him sigh. “Again- starlight, I don’t want to do anything you’re not comfortable with-” you nodded, understanding; you still couldn't face him though. It was too embarrassing. You felt his weight lift off the couch and looked over your shoulder.
“It’s getting late- I’ll see you in the morning, ok?” He smiled down at you. You nodded, still too embarrassed to speak. You got up as well, following him to the door. He looked down at you again, that loving look in his eyes, you smiled and waved as you opened the door for him, and closed it behind him.
You slowly turned around pressing your back against the door. What has your life become in the last 12 hours? Had you suddenly been thrust into a love triangle romdram? Maybe you had been cursed by a witch! That would make more sense than the reality you were currently living.
You had just started brushing your teeth, when you heard a knock at the door. You furrowed your brows, looking down at your phone for the time. 7:10am. You had been awake for 10 minutes- and someone was at your door. You walked out of the bathroom- toothbrush hanging out of your mouth as you opened the door. There stood Mr tall, dark, and handsome himself.
“You’re early.” you said holding your toothbrush, so that it wouldn’t fall out of your mouth. You watched as he grinned down at you, the loving look returning to his eyes as soon as he saw you.
“Yeah, I thought we could hang out on the couch again.” he watched as you slowly blinked- the wheels in your head slowly turning. It was too early to yell at him. You stepped back and let him come through the door, closing it behind him. Your cheeks were rosy from the comment he had made, but you simply had no energy to react. You returned to your bathroom before continuing your morning routine, soon enough you were ready. Crowe sat on your couch patiently, when he saw you were finished, he patted the spot next to him.
You sat your bag on the coffee table before sitting next to him. It took a moment for you to get comfortable before you looked at him, his eyes still full of the same emotion, adoration, love(?), and now a mix of excitement. You took in a deep breath again. Ah shit, here we go again. You let your eyes close and began to lean in and Crowe had met you quickly, so quickly in fact that you had toppled over, this time with him on top of you. The way you were positioned, one of his legs was over the side of the couch, and his other was between your legs.
It was dangerously close to touching your- ahem. You decided to focus elsewhere. His hands held him up, resting on either side of your head. He continued to kiss you- over and over again. It went like that for a few minutes, before his tongue swiped your bottom lip. You were about to react when he pulled back slightly, shifting his weight to be more focused on his legs, his hands moving to your hips, pulling you closer to him. Oh. Now his leg was more than dangerously close, it was making contact with your most sensitive spot; a few layers of fabric being the only barrier.
You felt his thumb swipe under the hem of your shirt, and you glanced up at him. Ah. you knew the emotion you were missing. It wasn’t just love. It was longing. But he had looked at you like this since- well since you met. How did he know what he wanted- and that he wanted you instantaneously? Whatever- that didn't matter right now. He was still looking at you like that- and how could you say no to someone who looked at you, as if you were the center of his universe.
He immediately returned to kissing you, his hands exploring under your shirt now. His tongue made contact with your lower lip again, and you opened your mouth for him to explore. You heard- and felt him groan softly as his tongue entered your mouth; You became distinctly aware of piercing you had not noticed before. How far were you going to go exactly? How far were you willing to go? You weren’t sure yourself. You could feel his hard-on against your lower abdomen.
You tried to ignore it, focusing more on his hand that was approaching your chest, and the way he was kissing you. It was needy. Every time he pulled back to catch his breath it would be a few short breaths, then back to his lips against yours. You honestly hadn’t had much time to catch your breath at all.
You felt his hand stop as his fingers had hit the lining of your bra, and you took your own hand from his hair- when had it ended up there? That… that didn’t matter right now. You used your own hand to reach up your shirt and guide his hand under your bra. You felt his breath hitch as he cupped your breast.
That’s what you wanted right now. You wanted him to touch you, you didn’t care where, maybe it was the years of pent up sexual frustration- maybe it was his sex appeal. Who knows? You didn’t care.
It was when he had squeezed your breast, that you let out a soft moan. It had been muffled by his mouth. Crowe pulled back just far enough to look down at you, before he began to kiss along your jaw. He took you turning your head to give him more room as the permission he needed.
He continued to kiss down your jawline, and then your neck. You did your best to keep your breathing even- you could still feel his erection poking your lower abdomen. You couldn't believe you were being groped and (essentially) ground against, on your own couch. Your mind couldn’t help but wander… would you be doing more than this on the couch? Especially with where you were at, at this point.
“Ah - Crowe-” you couldn’t believe that had come out of your mouth. But what happened next was so much worse. He bit down on the spot that had main you moan,
“Crowe- Fuck-!” it was as if your hips had a mind of their own when they bucked against his leg. What was that again? About you being the one being ground against? You were humiliated. How the FUCK had that just happened.
You covered your face with the one hand that could reach, Crowe continued to suck and nibble on the spot that had caused that reaction from you. You would let out a soft grumble here and there, but that was about it.
Once he was seemingly satisfied with his work, he got up from on top of you. You sat up as he sat on the other end of the couch. You were both going to need a moment to cool off.
You had looked at Crowe initially- before the noticeable bulge in his pants made itself known. You had turned yourself in the opposite direction. You didn't want to stare- not that you would! Ah, this was embarrassing. What you had meant was things needed to stop there- what time was it anyway?
You reached across to your coffee table, pulling your bag into your lap, you fished around in it for your phone. You eventually found it and pulled it out, looking at the time- FUCK. Well, today had, had a good run! You quickly shoved your phone back in the bag and tossed it across your shoulder before you grabbed Crowe’s hand and rushed for the door, you tossed his jacket at him- when you turned to grab yours- It wasn’t there!? Whatever! You did not have time for this. You quickly slipped on your shoes, and finally looked at Crowe, who looked confused.
“Time to get a move on lover-boy.” you tossed his shoes towards his feet. He was still staring at you- now with a flushed face.
He couldn’t believe you had called him that- not that it was a bad thing! No far- far from it in fact. He saw you staring at him, and he finally got the message to put his shoes on.
With that you opened the door and ushered him out- you followed and quickly turned to lock your apartment door.
“Olympieus is a 30 minute walk- so If we run the whole way- we may only be five minutes late.” you explained as you locked your door, you tucked the keys into your bag, and grabbed Crowe's arm dragging him along with you. “Are you always late?” He teased- of course he knew better, he usually made sure you made it safe both to and from your school.
“No- but since you showed up it’s become more common.” With that the talking was done. At least you had thought so- until you stepped out of your apartment building, and the cool autumn air hit you. You felt a shiver take over your body, until you were enveloped by warmth. You looked over at your- well you hadn’t quite figured out what he was to you yet- so… Companion? He was putting his jacket on you. Wouldn't he get cold? You went to speak- but before you could protest he stopped you.
“I run hot anyways. And if we are going to run all the way there- I would rather not have a jacket on.” you couldn’t argue with that. Crowe adjusted your grip from his arm to be holding his hand- that had you blushing. It’s not like you could say it was too intimate. Not anymore. With that you were off!
Crowe made sure to match your pace as you ran- you were sure he could have gone a lot faster without you, but he wasn’t gonna leave you there. You were both late because of what you had been doing- together.
It hadn’t taken super long to make it to the school, and you both headed to your own separate classes. You had forgotten you were wearing Crowe’s jacket at the point, and you were vastly unaware of the large hickey on the side of your neck. If Sol hadn’t received the message before- it should reach him clearly now. You were 10 minutes late- Not too bad. You knocked on the classroom door before entering.
“Ah, Ms. (L/n) how lovely of you to join us.” Your professor greeted you- he was obviously slightly annoyed by your interruption. You gave a quick apology and made your way to your seat. You had noticed some of the glances you received, and began to grow confused. Was there something on your face? You had made eye contact with Sol and his face fell- he quickly glanced elsewhere. You didn’t know what that was about- not that you’d have the chance to ask till later.
You sat down and got your notebook out as your professor began his lecture again. Soon enough class had ended. Sol had left without even acknowledging your existence. Ouch. You didn’t understand why you were getting iced out all of a sudden. Maybe he felt weird about- oh. Right. You had confessed to him yesterday- and then, well. All the stuff with Crowe had happened.
You felt your cheeks start to turn pink at the memory. You were still packing your bag when you noticed someone was standing in front of your desk. Ah, the blue haired demon himself. That only confused you, you and Hyugo didn’t go out of your way to speak to each other. He was staring at you- but not at your face- it was starting to freak you out a bit.
“Hyugo? What’s up?” you stared back at him, trying to search his face for an answer. He continued to stare. It felt like his eyes were boring into you, you were not a fan.
“Sorry- I was just admiring your-” he paused. Hyugo was normally a straight forward guy- at least in your opinion. Of what little you knew about him. “Your jacket.” A tense smirk pulled across his face. Jacket? Oh yeah- maybe that was why people had been looking at you weird this morning. No (y/n). No it was not.
“Oh- This? It’s Crowe's. I was running late this morning so he let me borrow it-” you looked down at the leather jacket that was wrapped around you.
“Seems like it’s not the only thing you borrowed this morning.” What the hell did he mean by that? You may never know- because he turned and made his way out into the -somewhat- crowded hallway. People were certainly acting off today.
You slung your bag onto your shoulder and made your way to the door.
Of course, Crowe was there waiting for you. You gave him a small smile, and he just grinned at you.
It looked like his plan had been a success! And (according to insider info) Sol hadn’t even bothered to look at you again this morning! That was a relief- He didn’t need Brugmansia defiling you with his eyes. Honestly, he would pluck those hideous things out of his right out of his skull to keep him from ever looking at you again! However, now was not the time for those thoughts.
He was absolutely glowing! Which for you, and everyone else was an unusual sight. You turned, noticing a few people looking at the two of you. What was up with all the staring today? You nudged Crowe with your elbow, and began walking. He received the message, and fell into step with you. You both had time to spare before your next class, and you would spend it together obviously.
Well more obvious to Crowe than to you, but he was here now, and you enjoyed his company. It’s not like Sol had even bothered to greet you this morning. Ugh. What was his problem now!? You told him how you felt, again not in the most direct way- and he didn’t really give you a clear answer. ‘Well, I'm sure he feels the same way about you.’ You were talking about him! (mostly). He knew that! He had to know.
You were sure everybody knew at this point! Your feelings had to be clear as the sky on a cloudless day.
And he gave you that non-answer! Was he also talking about himself?
Possibly. How the hell were you supposed to know? Maybe you were just dense. You felt your fists begin to clench, until you felt Crowe’s hand brush against yours. Oh yeah, this man you now had an ambiguous relationship status with was still by your side.
In Crowe's mind he was your boyfriend, lover, husband-to-be, so on and so forth.
But you weren’t a mind reader, and he hadn’t made that clear to you. All you knew is you weren’t just friends anymore. Friends didn’t make out. Or feel each other up. Or grind against each other on your living room couch.
You felt your cheeks turn a distinct shade of pink as you chased the last thought out of your mind. You felt a warmth in your hand. Oh. Crowe was holding your hand. When did that happen?
You weren’t sure how long you had been lost in your own thoughts. Apparently he took the liberty of intertwining his fingers with your own while you were. Crowe’s usual blank expression was replaced with a satisfied grin. You continue to walk hand in hand, you weren’t paying it too much mind.
“Oh- here- would you hold this?” you pulled the bag off your shoulder, Crowe pouted as you had pulled your hand from his. You pointed over your shoulder towards the restroom.
“I’ll be right back.” With that you handed your bag over and quickly made your way into the women’s restroom. You didn’t have to go- no, you just needed a minute to clear your head. You walked over to the sink and put your hands under the faucet, and the water began pouring out. You splashed your face with the water and sighed. You straightened your back and began to open your eyes. That's when you finally got to see yourself in the mirror. You were basically drowning in Crowe’s jacket. That wasn't what had caught your eye though. Your horrified shriek had probably been heard on the other side of campus. You were sure of it.
Ah, he had been caught.
You could feel your eye twitch. Your face was bright red as you marched out of the bathroom, the entrance now somewhat surrounded. You glared up at the man who had been waiting on you. Oh how you wanted to punch his stupid pretty face. You couldn't believe him! He had let you walk around none the wiser to the GIANT hickey on your neck. Everything this morning had a new context. The way people had been looking at you, what Hyugo had said, the way Sol wouldn’t even look at you- ah- Sol. honestly when everything had happened with Crowe you hadn’t even remembered he existed. It was the two of you in your own little world. There was no way to explain this- what could you say? God this was stupid.
You were stupid! You felt so stupid, and humiliated, and, and- you hadn’t finished that thought. You snatched your bag away from Crowe and began to walk away.
“Starli- (Y/n), where are you going?” He followed you, of course he had, he always did. He had gotten the distinct vibe right now was not the time to tease you.
“Home.” Your voice was cold and harsh. You hadn’t turned to look at him when you gave your answer.
“Well, I’ll walk you-” he was instantly cut off
“NO! YOU STAY HERE, OR GO LITERALLY ANYWHERE ELSE. JUST GET AWAY FROM ME!” You had whipped around and began to shout at him. He looked like a kicked puppy, but you didn’t care. Not right now at least. You were beyond embarrassed, and he had caused it! Why hadn’t he at least warned you!? You could feel your fists clench, and you turned back around, storming off. Your emotions were like a tidal wave. You were so angry- god you were furious!
You kept walking till you were long past the entrance, and finally you made it to the cafe near your apartment. Honestly you didn't want to go home. That was where everything had happened and that would stir up more emotions that would just confuse you more. You glanced over at the park. Sure, there were other emotions connected to the park but… you could always just go to a different area of it. So it was decided. You were going to spend some time in the park. Alone.
You found a spot away from the normal on goings, it was past some brush and trees. It was nice, it had a scenic view. You took your bag off and plopped down, pulling your knees to your chest. You needed this, just time to yourself. Time to think. Your feelings were more mixed up than they had ever been. What were your feelings exactly? Now you have time to figure that out. You had two very different men, pulling you in very different directions.
First there was Sol, previously you were so sure you were in love with him. Hell you were sure about it even yesterday! You had told him, albeit indirectly, that you were in love with him. Now you weren’t as certain. Sure, you felt the same, but now there was a piece of your brain that pictured something, rather, someone different all together when it came to being in a relationship. You were aware you were attracted to Crowe, you had been since you had met him, sure. He wasn’t a bad looking man!
But when you met you hadn’t pictured things ending up like this.
When you met- you still only pictured Sol when you thought of having a boyfriend. At the time you had been so sure that he was the only one for you. How did the man that pissed you off to no end, manage to sneak his way into your brain like that!?
Yes he was attractive, and sure he was kind to you, and looked out for you, and did nice things for you-
Oh. you groaned and let yourself fall onto your back, the soft grass padding your landing.
You looked up at the sky, watching the clouds.
At some point you suppose you dozed off. By the time your eyes had reopened the sun was beginning to set. You looked over and sighed in relief to see your bag was still there. You slowly sat up and stretched. You reached in and grabbed your phone. You looked at the time, 7:00 pm. You should probably head home. You glanced down at your notifications. 25 new messages and 15 missed calls. You rolled your eyes. Sure you had been gone all day, but was that necessary?
Crowe wasn’t sure how- but you had managed to slip out of his sight at some point on your route home. When he arrived at your apartment you weren’t there, so he had waited for a bit, but you never arrived. From there he started to check your favorite spots. You hadn’t been there either, that's when he had caved and called you the first time. You had to be somewhere! He just wasn’t sure where… yet.
After 15 minutes he sent you a message. Another 15 minutes later he called again. It continued on like that, the day went on longer, the sun sank lower in the sky. It was sunset now- he had checked back at your apartment and you still hadn’t made it there. He was starting to panic. What was the right amount of time to wait before handing out missing person flyers?
He was retracing his steps through the park for the third time when he decided to call again.
It was like a miracle when he heard your ringtone start- but his stomach dropped. It was off in the brush somewhere… what the fuck? What the fuck? WHAT THE FUCK? Why was it in the brush- oh god, what if something had happened to you? He didn't think he could live with himself if something had.
The panic sent his feet flying. He rushed toward the sound tearing through bushes and past trees.
You were just starting to will yourself off the ground when your phone began to ring. You stared at the caller ID and sighed. You really hadn’t wanted to deal with this right now- but you guess you would. You hadn’t had time to answer when you heard something absolutely rocketing through the bushes behind you. What the hell was coming toward you at that speed? You didn’t want to know, but you were definitely about to find out.
You had begun to look over your shoulder when something heavy collided with your back- it knocked the wind out of you. Arms had wrapped around you, holding you firmly against this person’s chest. You could feel their heartbeat against your back, it was erratic, like they had just ran a marathon. Was this how you were going to die? Maybe you should just resign to your fate.
No. Not like this. You took a deep breath readying yourself to scream the loudest you ever had- when you noticed the braid with loc jewelry laying against your shoulder.
Oh.
So… maybe this wasn’t how you were going to die. The top of Crowe’s head was pressed against the back of your neck. You could hear his labored breathing. You sat still as he continued to embrace you from behind. Honestly you were still pretty pissed off. First the hickey, now this? He had scared the shit out of you! Still, you remained silent in his grasp, the positioning not exactly favorable to you.
He continued to try and catch his breath. Your smell overtook his senses, helping the tension leave his body. The panic he had felt was for nothing! Here you were, all in one piece. Perfectly fine. Honestly, he should be angry, but he wasn’t! The fact that you were alive and breathing was enough to keep him from feeling that way. He shifted from being on his knees to having his leg stretch out on either side of you, and placed a chaste kiss against the nape of your neck. He had yet to utter a word. He didn’t feel like he needed to, in this moment he was just holding you.
Today had started off wonderfully, that was honestly an understatement.
He was just so… thankful that you existed. Not just in general, but here, at this time, in the same place as him. You were his soulmate. He was sure of it. He didn’t really believe in anything spiritually, but if he had; He was sure he had loved you in his last life, and he would continue to love you in his next one. If- (heavy on if) there was a next life- he would do whatever it would take to find you.
You sat in his arms, watching the sun start to dip below the horizon as the silence dragged on. It went on like that for a while, with Crowe resting his chin on top of your head. You’re sure it would look romantic to any onlooker, it was a rather intimate, tender moment. Eventually you let yourself relax in his touch, leaning your back into his chest. You heard a sigh escape him, and he pulled you closer to him.
“I went to your apartment- you weren’t there. I tried to call but you didn’t answer, after a while I started to get worried.” His words came out breathlessly, they sounded strained. A pang of guilt began to swell in your chest.
“I just needed time alone… time to think.” you closed your eyes, still learning against him. You still weren’t quite sure what you wanted or how you felt; but this… this was nice.
“About?” The question made you tense slightly. You were sure he had noticed. You weren’t ready to get into that.
“Everything.” Plain. Simple. To the point. You were sure he had got the message.
It was quiet for the next few minutes. You continued to watch the last bits of the sunset, the stars beginning to appear in the sky above you. You weren’t mad anymore, no, that had more than settled by now. You had come to some realizations, like the fact that you did like Crowe more than a friend. You had started to like him for the same reasons you had fallen in love with Sol.
That's where it got more complicated. Sol. Your best friend- your only friend. You had loved him for so long at this point. You had been so sure there would never be somebody else. That he was the one for you. Now here you were, in the arms of that somebody else.
But how long had you waited for him to feel the same? How long would it continue to be a game of cat and mouse- or tip toeing around the truth? Would he ever tell you how he felt? You didn’t know. But at this point you weren’t going to waste your life waiting around for him. You could feel Crowe breathing, his chest rising and falling against your back. You sighed, letting your head tilt back, resting it on Crowe’s shoulder.
“Starlight I-” not this spiel again.
“Don’t.” You held your hand up, signaling for him to stop. He didn’t need to apologize, you knew that. What the two of you had done together was consensual. You had just been embarrassed, the fact you hadn’t thought about the fact it would leave a hickey- that was embarrassing as well. He gave you another chaste kiss, this time against your shoulder. You felt your cheeks grow warm- and a tingling sensation somewhere lower. Much lower. You felt the warmth spread to the tips of your ears and sat up. Crowe’s fingers traced small circles against your hips. You wanted him.
You turned your head to look at him over your shoulder, placing a kiss against his temple. Then another slightly lower. And lower. You slowly worked your way down his jaw, You could see the pink that reached his cheeks.
Oh, this was happening.
You stopped, turning yourself around and straddling his lap, and stripping yourself of the borrowed jacket.
You continued to leave kisses across his jaw and down his neck. You could feel him get hard beneath you. You pulled back to look at him, his cheeks were such a pretty shade of pink. You leaned in and kissed his lips. He responded eagerly. He kissed you with fervor. He most certainly wanted you too.
You continued kissing him, slowly moving your hips against his groin. You felt him groan against your lips. It was very hot.
You swore you felt hot all over- you felt like you could combust. You broke the kiss- panting.
Crowe adjusted your positioning, His hands gripping your thighs. He had shifted and turned you to face away from him. He began to kiss along your neck from behind, His hand slowly working its way up your abdomen. You didn’t mind a repeat of this morning- no, not at all, but you wanted more. You felt his hand slip under your bra, and he began to play with your breast. You let out a quiet moan, and felt him pull you closer to his chest. You could feel his erection pressing against your ass and lower back.
You knew he wasn’t going to go farther without your permission, but you also didn’t want to take the lead here. You were sure- 100% positive you were the less experienced out of the two of you. You took a deep breath, grabbing his hand that rested against your hip; guiding it past your waistband. You felt his Left hand graze against your now drenched panties; His right one quickly unclasping your bra.
He needed to teach you that one.
“Excited, aren’t we?” His voice was a ghost of a whisper against the shell of your ear. You couldn’t be more red- even if he tried to embarrass you. The way he was touching you made sure of that. You let yourself lean into him, your weight now completely resting against his chest. He managed to pull your bra off, tossing it on top of your bag; he pulled your shirt up enough for it to rest on your shoulders. The chilly air touching your now exposed breasts sent a small shiver up your spine. He used his right hand to continue massaging your chest, while his left hand finally slipped beneath your underwear. You felt him gently caress your skin, before his fingers made their way to your clit. He began to make small circular motions against it- making you take in a sharp breath. The throbbing between your thighs had a simple answer: Jericho Ichabod. He began kissing your neck again, still using both hands to stimulate your more… sensitive areas. You let out a soft moan as he continued, but that’s not quite what he wanted. He eventually kissed down to the mark he had left on your neck, he gently sunk his teeth into it.
“CROWE-FUCK-!” There it was. The multiple points of stimulation had got to you. A repeat of this morning had happened. Your hips pressed upwards towards his hand, causing more pressure between his fingers and your clit. You closed your eyes, whimpering in embarrassment. You felt him smirk against your skin, you may be embarrassed- but you weren’t gonna stop him. He slowly removed his fingers from your clit, his hand sinking lower into your pants. His middle finger sunk into you achingly slowly. It earned a squeak from you- and you bit your lip. He repeated the action, pulling it out ever so slowly, and letting it sink back into you.
“Starlight?” He kissed the side of your head as you hummed in response. “My name.”
“....Crowe…?” you looked at him questioningly, an eyebrow raised. He nodded.
“Make sure you keep moaning it for me, ‘kay?” You're sure your face would have flushed, if it hadn’t been already. You nodded, head leaning back against his shoulder, and he continued. He began to pick up the pace ever so slightly, earning some small noises from you. Then his ring finger was added to the mix.
“Crowe-” You sucked in a breath. It had almost been a whisper, but you felt him shiver against you. You felt him begin his pace again, two fingers inside of you instead of one. Then he did something different. You felt his fingers curl inside you, and a jolt shot through your body. “Oh god- fuck- Crowe!” you took a deep breath. He repeated the motion. You gripped his hand that was still on your chest, leaning forward slightly. “Fuck- Right there!” He continued to repeat the motion, with you both verbally and physically reassuring him he was hitting the right spot. You were getting close- and you were about to tell him- when you felt his hand retreat. Your eyes shot open, and you whimpered at the lack of contact. You watched as he brought his fingers to his mouth, sucking them clean.
Oh.
Your pout, and staring didn't go unnoticed.
“What?” He removed his fingers from his lips. “Was I supposed to skip dessert?” Your eyes widened. What did he just say? With that he shifted, moving to be in front of you. He pushed against your chest, making your back softly meet the earth behind you.
You still stared at him- you weren’t pouting anymore- but you remained wide eyed. He unbuttoned your pants, and began to slide them down. You cooperated- lifting your hips- but you were still shocked. Was this actually happening? I mean- yeah he was knuckle deep in you not too long ago- but didn't most guys prefer to be gone down on? Not the other way around? You weren’t so sure- seeing as this was your first time doing- well- any of this.
Eventually, your pants were up and over and discarded, now it was just you, in your panties- with your shirt lifted up around your neck. You were happy you had at least worn cute underwear today. They were black with a lace trim- but they wouldn’t be on much longer either. The same process that had happened with your pants, began again with your panties. There you were, bare for all the world to see. Crowe stared down at you- it was as if you could see the hearts form in his eyes. You shifted your gaze elsewhere.
It was flattering, sure, but also embarrassing to be stark naked in front of another person.
You wanted to cover yourself- feeling far too shameful, but you dare not move.
It remained like that for another minute, Crowe just taking in your form. He leaned over you, softly cupping your face and turning it to face him. He kissed you softly, it was reassuring; and as quick as he had kissed you, he parted from it. He pulled himself back up, and lowered himself again.
You could feel his hot breath against your skin, as he adjusted himself, and slowly placed your legs over his shoulders. He placed a soft kiss against your ankle, and worked his way up. Finally you felt as your body shifted to have more pressure on your upper back- he had lifted your hips and adjusted his grip to your waist when he had you in the position he wanted.
You felt as his lips pressed against your lower ones, His tongue slowly dragged across you- and you couldn’t help but suck in a breath. His tongue was a new sensation- but not an unwelcome one. He continued with the same repeated action, each time sending a shudder through your body. You were so enthralled in the new sensation- the world around you became nothing. You didn’t even hear the rustling of the bushes behind you.
You had apparently left before your art class again today. Not that Sol should care- but he did. He was greatly aware of your absence. Sure- you showed up with a hickey on your neck after telling him you were in love with him- Yeah, what a great feeling that gave him.
However, you had missed class… a lot lately. Of course he was worried about you. You were skipping class- running off with Crowe all the time.
He really didn’t want to think poorly of the guy- It was just hard given what he did know. and maybe- maybe- not that he would ever admit it- He was kind of jealous of the attention you had been giving him. He spent the rest of class thinking over it all. At some point he had tried texting you- but he never received a response. He even tried calling you- but it went to your voicemail.
He was frustrated sure- and maybe he ignored you this morning- yeah. But that was no reason to disappear and not let him know you were ok. After he finished his classes for the day he left, heading straight to your apartment. He knocked, and waited. Then knocked and waited again. Ok, so you weren’t at home either. He checked the cafe- No, then the park- not anywhere noticeable at least. He was starting to actually worry. Where could you have gone? It was getting dark. He may actually begin to panic at this rate. Then an idea hit him- he quickly took out his phone and opened your shared messages.
He swiped over to check and- Yes! You still had your location shared with him. You were… in the park he had just left.
He sighed, turning around and beginning his trek back. He followed as his phone showed him the directions, eventually arriving back at the park. It showed you were… off in the brush? He had a sinking feeling in his stomach. You were- you were ok, right? He silently followed the directions again, praying inside his own mind. As he approached he swore he had heard your voice- though he didn’t quite catch what you said.
That’s when he saw you- well, not just you.
Sure he had imagined it- more than once before. But when he had pictured you like this- it wasn’t with your legs placed on another man's shoulders. You didn’t even notice he was there- He was just a voyeur in this intimate scene.
Crowe, however, had. His eyes lazily trailed over to Sol, a smirk came to his lips as he pulled away from you. You whined as he did. He gave a wink to Sol, reveling in his own victory. The best man had won.
“Crowe… please-” He returned to you after the brief interaction, watching Sol turn and leave. He would let him live- just this once, he would get away with seeing you in such a state. Only because it showed him his place.
You hadn’t been aware of your visitor- so you couldn’t really care. You arched your back as Crowe returned his tongue to the spot between your thighs. He changed how he was holding you, slowly sliding his fingers inside you again. You squeezed your eyes shut. It was starting to become too much- he began to pick up the pace, curling his fingers inside you, while stimulating your clit with his pierced tongue. You began to breathe heavier- the sensation was making your eyes water. You continued to moan, unable to say anything coherent. He continued quickening the pace of his fingers- until you tightened around them, and your body twitched. You had cum Crowe’s face. That was not something you were exactly worried about at this moment- you weren’t really worried about anything, actually.
You panted, your chest heaving up and down. He slowly laid your lower half in the grass, before grabbing your clothing, beginning to redress you. You laid still, staring at the sky as he did his best to get your panties and pants back on you. Once they were on he leaned over you, pressing a kiss against your temple. You closed your eyes- focusing on your breathing. You felt him lay next to you, wrapping you in his arms.
“You are so beautiful.” He placed another kiss against your temple. You sighed dreamily in response. You didn’t have the words right now. Your mind was dazed- and you were beyond tired.
You laid there in silence, you could feel Crowe brush some of your hair out of your face. You smiled softly, eyes still closed. Your mind couldn’t even process the happenings of the day. Soon your breathing evened out, and you drifted off to sleep.
Crowe smiled, watching you. He relished in the events of the day. He pinched his arm- he had to make sure he wasn’t dreaming. He sat up beside you, watching your chest rise and fall. His grin grew wider. You were his. How long had he waited for this? Years… at this point. But here you were, next to him, in his spot at the park. And he had, had you. In more than one way at that. He let out a dreamy sigh, before standing. Though he wished you could both stay in this moment forever- that was sadly not the case. He grabbed your bag, slinging it across his shoulder; before turning back to you. He knelt down and scooped you up bridal style. It was as if you were married! He felt his cheeks warm at the thought. He could not wait to marry you. This was fate after all. He slowly made his way through the brush, entering the main part of the park. He didn’t want to wake you. He continued walking with you in his arms, and he spotted a figure sitting on a bench ahead. The figure's head was buried in his hands.
“Brugmansia.” It was short. To the point. With that said he passed the sulking man.
He had not only won the battle, but the war itself. taglist: @atsuriatsu
