Too many trash players! The chorus isn’t sending their best musicians! We need a wall to separate us from the chorus! We need to temporarily ban all sports people!

“The chorus” isn’t a part of band otherwise they’d be a section, not the chorus. A “trash player” is a //person// with //potential// and if you can’t encourage them to succeed and grow, you’re part of the part of the problem and why we need “to make band great again”

As for sport players,

They’re irrelevant.

But there are people who are in originally in chorus and come to the band.

A trash player is one who doesn’t do anything with that potential, sits there, doesn’t practice, and still complains they’re doing poorly.

Sport players can also be in band. Plus, they seem to get more respect than the band because they belong in sports.

People come from all walks of life to join band, true. That’s because playing in an ensemble provides a sense of unity, a sense of community and equality. Ever heard of the EUYO? Or the UNO? People, musicians from different backgrounds, different //countries// to be part of a family.

Let the choir kids come, let the sports kids come, because at the end of the day it’s not about who you are, it’s about what you’re doing together.

And if you continue to call someone a ‘trash player’ instead of encouraging them to practice, how can you expect them to improve?? If you continue to tell them that they’re not good enough, their embouchure is terrible, they’re a //trash player// they won’t feel encouraged to practice and meet their potential because you’ve told them they have none.

And if we viewed them this way, we wouldn’t have people like you that think there is a problem with band and that can’t recognise when I quote them when I use their material sarcastically.
