hamilton has bi representation!: lmm pats himself on the back but he didn’t even hint at hamilton being bi whereas rent has the Whole LGBT (also like… they’re not slave owners)

hamilton represents poc on broadway!: the cast of rent is mainly poc and the characters of hamilton are all violent racists and slaveowners + lin manuel has said the n-word while not being black so uh. im gonna let you decide which is better representation

hamilton draws attention to important issues!: rent is literally about the aids crisis and classism and hamilton has like two throwaway lines about immigration 

hamilton is the first musical to have a nontraditional score!: have you ever listened to rent or for that matter any other musical besides hamilton
