Looking for a Beta reader

Hey everyone. I've recently fallen in love with Chicago Med/PD, in particular that of the Halstead brothers. I'm wanting to write an AU fic focusing on the two but I could really use some help with trying to make sure characters like Voight seem more in-character (if that makes sense). I'm not sure how to go about getting this kind of help so any suggestions are welcome.

Okay, so Gray has FINALLY been arrested and Whitney got to play Spiderman (insert sarcastic clapping). My question is, when will Whitney finally face the consequences for running over Kat in her attempt to maim and or kill Ben? Am I still salty? You'd better believe it!

Escaping Twitter for a bit

I’m so sick of seeing so many anti-ballum posts on twitter. Like, I get that you hate the couple but to call people that do like them insane and stupid is horrendous. I’ve had canon couples on shows that I absolutely despise but I don’t go onto social media and berate and belittle those that do like them.

I'm seriously confused. I keep seeing people commenting on twitter that Ben will show up at callum's party tomorrow and putting spoiler by it. Where are people getting this idea? I've been looking and asking but not finding any answers. My frazzled mind honestly can’t tell if it’s just wishful thinking on their part or they legit know something!

Ballum Anxiety

At this point I’m pretty much making this a series of my fears for Ballum. I know this is a soap and constant fluffiness would be boring. But, if the boys seriously get divorced barely a year together I will be INFURIATED. 

I’m begging for the cliche “Ben shows up at the last minute” scene as Callum is loaded into the back of the police van and the pair make eye contact.

Ben’s bad decision

Welp, I just saw on twitter a very convincing take on the bad decision: Ben turns to the bottle to cope and that will threaten his marriage. We’ve seen Ben drinking more often and in higher quantities the past few weeks, Pam and Callum have both commented on it and unfortunately he does have a habit of turning to alcohol to cope. I think this is a pretty sound theory seeing as it would logically lead to an ultimatum from Callum and even having Ben move in with Kathy for a bit.  Edit: dear Lord, that scene with Stuart in the pink hospital gown😬

Ballum Inquiry

Harvey tells Dana they have no choice but to leave Walford. Martin tries to cover the truth but he can’t help himself. Ben struggles in the aftermath of the attack and makes a bad choice.

I’m sure like the rest of you this current SL has been really painful to watch, so much real life issues that the lgbtq+ community experience and feel everyday being addressed. So, based on this synopsis for the 28th of January what bad choice do you think Ben is going to make? I’m scared it’s going to involve him going even further back into the closet and as a result hurting or even destroying his and Callum’s relationship/marriage.  

What do you people think?

Unpopular Ballum Opinion

Okay, Okay so here it goes. I wish the bomb had gone off. No one gets seriously hurt and I get the reunion moment wherein Ben and Callum embrace after searching for each other. I loved the Ballum moments we got in the episode but my “make it whump” heart is in a corner threatening to write fanfic.

Eastender SL that needs to be addressed

Can the Eastender writers FINALLY address the fact that Whitney tried (and failed) to run over Ben and instead ran over Kat?! People are so quick on Twitter to root for her and call her a white knight when she has yet to answer for her crime. People like to call out Ben about the horrible things he has done, one such notable one being manslaughter but I seem to recall that he went to prison for that crime. So EE writers, when is Whitney finally going to be exposed?
