there is genuinely just too much 😭 this is the best tayley timeline i can do for you rn. another note is that she'd constantly post songs from late 2017-2020/2021 that felt like they could've been about him/them. i'm prob missing other stuff but my brain hurts now
she’s not interacting with twitter users anymore on purpose so yes i was right. and when i say ppl should stop mentioning him i mainly mean like the ppl that are posting about him in a delusional way in regards to Paramore. he clearly does not want to be mentioned or associated with Hayley or Paramore right now. not saying it says anything negative abt their relationship but i just think it’s obvious that she finds it uncomfortable atp and for all we know she is trying to respect his wishes and get ppl to get the hint abt him and the band already. hence the Sade clip.

this is such a bullshit take because first of all, it’s not hayley who’s been lurking on twitter. I’m sure it’s been mostly leah/the team sending her tweets that she would then post on her stories (so it’s different than hayley scrolling instagram and tiktok by herself) and second, she was still “interacting” with twitter fans up until november when she swore off socials for her hibernation time and people been talking about taylor all that time too. if it bothers her so much she could finally confirm a break up directly but she still hasn’t done that. she also brings taylor up herself in interviews. why would she be bothered by the fans of the band talking about a band member or commenting on something that she brought up in an interview (like taylor gifting her that acoustic guitar)

idk if that one sentence at the end made sense in my last ask but I basically meant that I don’t think we will be seeing them for awhile. that this gap will be longer than normal for multiple reasons outside of them just finding themselves outside of the band. if you’re going away for awhile and want your fans to start getting used to that idea, Sade is the perfect example with how long her breaks have lasted.

I agree with the message about how she cut the tiktok off before the rest of the interpretations but with the Sade clip I think it’s slightly more revealing if you know what Sade’s breaks actually looked like… That woman would go away completely quiet for a decade or more before coming back. She’s done that like 3 times now. You can do the math. I’m not worried about the band per se just think it’s interesting she used Sade of all ppl to get that point across. Like I fear we won’t be seeing them for much longer than normal. And I would guess that that would probably be for multiple reasons outside of just finding themselves outside of the band.
i like how she did it tho and tbh i wouldn’t even be upset to see paramore take a break for a long time like that. they deserve it and must also need it after all these years of basically having to always be doing something.
i also feel like hayley likely didn’t want a break at first, hence why she was so confident that paramore would be working on stuff, but when the guys wanted it she still needed an outlet for now. we have no idea what’ll come after her touring ends, but if it’s a break then i’d welcome it for her. it’s like how she says in whim that she’s always on the move, and while that’s about love, i think it can apply to her as a person in general.
she’s always doing something. always. so maybe after all this she will want to just chill out and actually take a proper break.

we might be past this now but genuinely i don’t think anything said in that paraphrasing video was even that crazy, although a few interpretations were off from how she’d described the songs (most notably discovery channel), and either way she very clearly cut it off, probably on purpose and for a reason. she posted entire minute or longer videos in her stories today, but for that one she only included like twenty something seconds. she chose not to highlight the whole thing and to specifically stop it with one song as buffer before it got into the songs that were being interpreted more negatively or in ways that could be perceived as blaming/condemning. she definitely didn’t endorse all of the opinions in the video as accurate. and that sade video felt positive to me as far as paramore is concerned! she didn’t really take much of a break at all when it came to writing and touring her solo stuff, so she’d pretty clearly relate to that in terms of the band, which is just more reassurance that she’s still in the mindset of wanting to get back to it once they’ve had the time and space to regroup and really feel passionate about it again. not that i necessarily doubted that, but i think it’s a good thing to point to for the crazy doomers on tik tok and wherever else who are convinced paramore will never be back and she could never possibly so much as be able to be in the same room as taylor again lol.

The Sade clip she posted is exactly the sort of thing Hayley said during their last break and has said again this time round. Nothing new at all, totally understandable, definitely nothing to be worried again - just the reality that people need a break from things, and that actually that can be a really positive thing!

The more time goes one the more it’s obvious that other the breakup between tayley paramore had so many reasons to take a long break, it’s not even unusual for them to take so much time off between albums and for Taylor to disappear (the break between AL to TIW was LONG) people try to put secret meaning to the break and say they’ll never be back and they are on bad terms when in reality so many big thing happened in around the eras tour that i’d be worried if they didn’t take such a long break. The contract ending probably affected them heavily professionally and personally, trying to deal with creative differences and mental health issues especially when they are such close friends is probably really hard and they all needed to take time off not only from the band but also from each other to figure things out and find themselves out of the band. Hayley said she need to find herself out of the band and even if Taylor won’t say it because he’s not online it’s 100% something that i think is right for him too, everything that happened in the band over the years affected taylor aswell!!!
People loveee to be negative and miserable online, truth is they all probably needed a long break desperately to recharge and work things through personally and professionally (not only tayley) and hayley maybe have a different way to heal and deal with things than taylor but it doesn’t mean that everything she does is a secret message to him or us, she have his phone number lol and it seems like they’re on good terms, they’re adults and will talk things through when it’s time but we also don’t know them or everything they have been through, let them heal and come back when they’re ready.

But Its just kind of an odd time (literally on tour performing daily) and way to address it though so it makes you wonder why she’s addressing it now and in this way. I really wonder if she saw that thread in the Paramore sub and read the common theme of the comments and just felt like she owes an explanation to ppl waiting thinking Paramore is coming back next year but also for the folks that are spreading negative vibes abt the band 24/7 🤷♀️
