You will soon see the Zippuino speeding around The Plains of Verpets! Work on the Coliseum is coming to a close for now as we gather user feedback. We can’t wait to see how the community feels about this new take on pet site battling.

We are still in need of a map/environmental artist, so if you know anyone, or are interested yourself, reach out!

Happy Earth Day from Kaylune! Just like the Bearars soaking up the sun in this sneak peek of our spring day banner by tomo, we hope you'll get the chance to enjoy your natural world this week!

For this Earth Day, we made a donation to the Gobi Bear Project in honor of our beloved Bearar. The Gobi Bear Project works to protect and research one of the rarest bears on the planet.

(Additionally, the flower crown was drawn by our previous artist lune. Is it the end result of the Bearars' gathering? 😊)

Update!

Hello Alpha testers and interested souls of Verpets! We wanted to give you an update on what we have been working on and a preliminary timeline for when we will be opening the site to the public (still in an alpha/beta state)!

We have a new pet, introducing the Lalune! Thanks to @jakdacrowe for creating this moon bunny! We also have had good progress on the Pet Park, a place where you can interact with other pets and gain happiness while there. Mining has had a full revamp and is now tile based with keyboard and click-based controls!

Very early work has been started on the Coliseum. We currently have the landing page done, along with setting your pets' load out and the item drop pool. More to come later on, but we have a strong emphasis on itemization here!

We are also going through all the feedback we compiled from closed alpha (306 ideas) and picking the ones we like best to work on. A lot of quality of life improvements here!

With all that said, we are targeting an opening at the end of July for all of you to see what we have done together on Verpets. We hope to see you there!

Closed Alpha Starts!

Last year, a small portion of the legacy Verpets community came together and began rebuilding the site from scratch!

Over that time, we have developed many of the game's core features and are inviting over 80 members to join in, test what we have so far, and share valuable feedback that will help shape our next steps.
