Hey, OOC, but this following post here is one that, given this blog’s inactivity, anyhow, is long, long overdue. I honestly doubt anybody will really care, especially as this blog’s been relatively untouched for months, & I’ve barely so much as spoken of the source material on main for roughly the same duration of time, but! For the sake of clarity, that I, for whatever reason, feel obligated to provide:
This blog, while it may remain up for archival purposes for myself, is no longer going to be used.
If you’d like to know why, I’ll leave an explanation below, but, yeah, TLDR, I’m not using this blog anymore, nor will I be publicly engaging in anything TSP related outside of (commission) work.
I no longer wish to have any sort of association with The Stanley Parable’s fandom, & I haven’t for quite some time now.
This is very much an if you know, you know, thing, but, at a point at the beginning of this year, I made a series of poor, emotionally driven choices in a state of duress, and the consequences of this were... Not ideal, and, I would argue not quite warranted—I’ll say I was being a right shithead, I’ll own up to that, but I believe was treated incredibly cruelly, all things considered. Wound up having to deactivate my original account because of it all—the URL(s) of which I will not be divulging, because there are plenty of people whom I do not want to find me, out of fear of shit being dragged up again. Anyway, won’t go into it in any sort of detail, as it doesn’t need to be hashed up again, & I’d truly rather it not be. Point is, though, that the harassment I faced was from members of this fandom, on the Tumblr side of things.
I have tried, very hard, to ignore & move on from this, but I’ll admit that it is difficult, & has made even engaging with TSP in private difficult for me, & the more time that passes, the more I just want to stop.
I don’t doubt that TSP will occupy a special place in my heart for a long while yet, but it’s also been soured by the poor experiences I’ve had in this fandom, even as a very, very small creator.
Truly, I wish that I could continue to love this, as, as does anything I create—whether original or derivative—it’s all meant a lot to me, but I just. Cannot.
I’ve had fun here, for the most part, but upon some deep reflection, pertaining to both this, & other, unrelated subjects, I think it time to put this chapter of my life to rest.
Does @offscriptnarration know about all the other Narrators on here. Narrators of The Stanley Parable. All just different versions of him--or, rather, his source material. That he is not truly one-of-a-kind, but rather that there are many of his kind, he just happens to be my one. Does he know. Does he know.
Sorry, there's what? When, the other day, another Narrator had been mentioned, I presumed they'd been one for another game or other such piece of media. There's what? Excuse me?
can me and my pal billy turn u into a magical girl 2, pleaaseeeeee so u can match my own narrator and you'll look so coool
I suspect I have zero say in this matter, and the little bastard will force me into one of those outrageous outfits the moment he’s unoccupied—ah, yep, yep, he’s nodding. I see him nodding eagerly at me. Wonderful.
The Narrator on Mr Ant Tenna's TV TIME!!!!!! When?
Anytime now, apparently, if the little maniac who does my portraits is to be believed.
He’s rather quite intimidating, if you ask me… though le artiste from above tells me he’s, quote, “actually incredibly silly and pathetic, and a massive loser,” which does offer some consolation.

Hello this is John Business 👋 I propose that the Stanley Parable 3 be a month subscription service instead of a one time purchase with 3 premium subscription options with each tier gaining the player more endings/gameplay experiences!
Yours truly John Business
The investment from fans may be worthwhile--consider how nourishing of an intellectual gruel this would be. But, John Business, if that really is your name, consider the backlash! What good is the purchase of a product if you can't even own the thing outright? A little silly, really.
Oh, I finally have the option to answer this one! I’d like you to know that this particular message broke my inbox, and made it so that the button to answer it simply did not appear—not on desktop, nor on mobile. Incredible that this one managed to be so stand-out and special, when it is a remarkably unfunny joke.
