Lying on her cousin’s bed, Odessa hadn’t been paying much attention to the conversation at the door, simply reading her book as she hadn’t deemed it important enough to invest in. But, when Jamie raised her voice, it grabbed her attention and she looked over to the blonde. “What was that about?” She asked after the door slammed shut.

Moving back over to the bed so she could take her seat next to her cousin, she had to try and contain her anger. “Someone who doesn’t seem to understand the fact that I don’t want to talk to them.” She had groaned. “Why do we not have our wands?”

“Look I’m not in the mood for this crap right now so how about you just leave.”

“It was worth a try.” Myra huffed, sitting down on the chair with a thump. She wanted privacy, but she knew that was no longer a privilege she held.

“I wouldn’t worry about it too much, after a while you forget they’re there.”

“I hope you’re referring to yourself, there.” Jared replied, a small smirk finding its way to his lips. 

“Nope, of course not. I look fabulous so I can’t be talking about myself.” A smirk pulled at her lips happy to see him.

    “You can leave me alone for a bit— it’s not like I can go anywhere.” She rolled her eyes, sitting on the edge of her bed with a huff. Privacy was hard to come by, especially recently.

“You know telling them that won’t work right? They don’t care and they don’t listen.”
