More dragonized Nikolai
A better ref for current Nikolai, including his scar. (And booty)
following people who currently own my past usernames as a powermove
Would people be chill if I started posting my art here of my RP characters too? Like, Nikolai is gonna have art posted no matter what, but would you be interested in meeting Wren?
A more accurate drawing I did of Nikolai. I referenced the original fc for him, and then tweaked some things <3

Art by me, picture for attention (follow on borden4041 on insta, or ekartdrawing on facebook for proof tbh) BOY HOWDY HAS IT BEEN ACTUALLY FOREVER SINCE I HAD THIS BLOG RUNNING Hi there. The name is Borden. He/They pronouns (mandatory, thank you very fuckin' much). I haven't been an active tumblr member since before the great porn purge. I've been gone so long that most of yall that follow this blog are deactivated or no more. I have good-ish news though? I get to use Nikolai for something again! He's gonna be in a friend's dnd campaign (well, it's an in person rp. homebrew all the fucking way.) What does that mean for yall? You'll probably get art and aesthetic stuff shared here again. (his character hasn't been revealed yet in game, so i cant share stuff to the discord yet.) And mayyyyyybe the occasional writings? Idk. I've fallen out of the written rp world for so long, i'm scared to come back. But yeah! Just wanted to share the update. Confirm i'm not dead or anything, etc.

Emrys was leaning against the bar, just after closing, counting out his tips. He didnāt like to do it at home since his roommate had this thing about strippers. Heād done pretty well tonight. āAt least Iāll be able to pay rent.ā
Nikolai nudged the otherās elbow.Ā āIād be careful where I lean. People are slobs and I havenāt gotten a chance to clean my domain yet.ā He laughed, smiling.Ā āLooks like you did alright though, eh?ā
āI honestly donāt care right now. To tired.ā Emrys grinned slightly. āDid you just call the bar your domain? Youāre a nerd arenāt you?ā He shrugged, looking at the bills. āI guess, wont be able to eat but at least Iāll have a roof.ā
āI like making drinks and Iām good at it, so sue me.ā He finished wiping up, but frowned.Ā āRent that shitty?ā Nikolai started thinking of ways not to come across as too forward, but decided along the lines of what the hell.Ā āThen come get somethin to eat with me after we close up. My treat.ā
āRoommate that shitty.ā Emrys looked up and quirked an eyebrow. āAre you asking me out on a date.ā
āPlease, I barely know you. Not that you arenāt pretty and all. Just pay this forward at some point.ā Nik grinned.Ā āBesides, I know what itās like to not have much. And no, itās not pity.ā
Nikolai looked at the other, eyes narrowing slightly. unsure of what to make of the other person. "And who do you think you are, moving in on my family?" It wasn't a secret of who the people that were going after other members of his family were. "Was one of our marks yours or something?"
Itās about time this guy responded. Geez, youād think someone would reach out a lot sooner if they knew their men were being slaughtered. Satake assumes his normalĀ ābusinessā personaāone of confidence and condescension.Ā āWell, whaddya expect I do? Allow you to grow until you become an actual threat? No sir, being proactive is an important quality of mine.ā
His own hands shifted, resting on the butt of a gun in his own pockets. He never trusted people who didnāt show their hands, and with good reason.Ā āWell, Youāve killed several of my people, and Iāve killed Ā several of yours. Why donāt we call it a truce? Let our clients decide who the bigger and badder are?ā
Oh, donāt mind him. Itās just a casual habit of his. If anything, Nikolai should be more wary of the 24 knives he keeps on him at all times.Ā āā¦A simple truce? Really?ā Not sure he can trust this guy so easily, but if heās no threat to Satake, Satakeās no threat to him.
āOr if not a truce, a union. Though, Really, you should be talking to Mother if that is more your style. She hasnāt died yet, so Iām not officially in charge, yet.ā He shrugged.Ā āBut a truce. Come now, canāt turn a profit if people see me killing for free.ā Nikolai gave a sly smirk.Ā āWhat kind of ring would I be in if I didnāt propose a merge?ā
Nikolai looked at the other, eyes narrowing slightly. unsure of what to make of the other person. "And who do you think you are, moving in on my family?" It wasn't a secret of who the people that were going after other members of his family were. "Was one of our marks yours or something?"

He barked out a laugh, shaking his head.Ā āSee..In being proactive, you can only prevent what you think is going to happen. Not what will.ā Nikolai ran a hand through his hair, before glancing up again.Ā āSo what made you go slash happy anyways? Still wondering that. Not our fault if our rates are better than yours.ā
Oh? Already enough, this guy was interesting and different. How⦠refreshing.Ā āHm. But best it never has the chance to happen before it can be stopped, you know.ā A shrug, hands sliding into his jacket pockets.Ā āAnd I guess you could just say I have good intuition.ā

Raul was sitting in the back, partially hidden by the shadows. Patrons didnāt pay attention to people in the shadows for the most part. He was watching the men and women who were surrounding the stage, a few of them were just drunk enough to start trouble.
Nikolai made another drink, filled another order, only to have the person who ordered it vanish into the fray. Not one to want to waist a drink, he took note of the bouncer standing off to the side. He held the drink up, nodding his head at the other in invitation.
Raul looked over the the bar, nodding slightly and standing. He shouldered his way through the crowed, leaning on the bar. āAnd what fool walked off on his drink today?ā
He shook his head, frowning.Ā āDidnāt pay enough attention to their face. Bastards didnāt even leave a tip or anything.ā He slid the drink across the counter to Raul.Ā āItās a good drink though. More on the flavor than strength side though.ā Nikolai laughed, before turning to whip up another round of shots for a stag party.
āSo a girls drink.ā Raul took the glass, leaning against the bar to continue watching the crowd. āI heard a man once say he only tips dancers because thatās why heās here.ā He shook his head. āWell you look busy tonight, how many stag parties you serve yet?ā
Groaning, he wiped a spot on the counter, managing to hide an eyetwitch as someone sloshed their drink right where he cleaned. Running a hand through his hair, he slid the shots down, then went back to waiting.Ā āToo many, my friend. Too many. I mean, itās good for business, but watching drunks make even bigger messes of themselves isnāt my idea of a good time. Plus, theyāre the ones that like to get handsy.ā
