PSA ! ok so first things first & when it comes to danielle i think it’s best to say that she can be very triggering. she is a drug addict, most specifically heroin & i will do my very best to play it respectfully.
she’s from wateford, born and bred. she has no absolute clue of who her father is, her mother was a prostitute and she’s the daughter of one of her clients ( which means, an unknown sister / brother plot is def open ! ) .
her mother was a heavy cocaine user. when she wasn’t out with work, she was in and high out of her mind. which means, danielle learned how to take care of herself at a pretty young age. she also did house chores for both her and her mother, and at times her mother would hit on her as well if she didn’t do what she told when she was high. she’d look at the bruises & be a crying mess later?? but danielle knew it would always happen / again / . tbh, it affected her more than she could ever imagine.
due to her hard time at home, she always had it bad at school. when it comes to grades, at least. she just couldn’t focus - and failed a couple of years, too. her friends ( from different ‘ cliques ‘ ) were the ones who kept her there the most - she always found it difficult to connect with anything or anyone because she felt just so empty and when she felt, she was full of rage, but in some ways they weren’t so bad.
and it was right there, at school & with her so called friends, her first direct meeting with drugs. she was fifteen and it was pot tbh, that she did enjoy and kept on smoking for a while until she grew bored and just, like with most things, it just wasn’t enough. then, she stole some of her mom’s cocaine - she hated how it felt bc it was the very opposite of what she wanted to feel ?? it only heightened her rage lmfao .
when she was sixteen, she decided to drop out of school. at seventeen, she started using heroin. it was with her first boyfriend ever, whom she truly loved a lot, and which was also an addict. he told her / not / to, and she knew how bad it could be ( in theory at least ) but she went for it nonetheless. it’s safe to say she’s got addicted. it gave her / exactly / what she wanted to feel .
when she was eighteen, her mother died of an overdose. surprisingly enough, even for herself, she didn’t cry. it was almost like she couldn’t say or feel anything towards it ?? or almost like she knew it’d happen already ?? she somehow wanted to feel or say smth human or sympathetic but couldn’t. in return, she did got scared and tried to get rid of heroin; but it was unsuccessful and it made her feel like complete shit so she got back to it again??? think that christiane & detlef scene from the movie christiane f if you’ve ever seen it idek or like renton from trainspotting ???? except unlike renton she didn’t get to all of it bc she ended up using h again .
she’s p chill tho ??? most of the time she’s just so high out of her mind she doesn’t really know what’s going on but she’s not she / can / be p chilled but at the same time is my angry child bc ofc shes got a lot of anger inside her. she /wants/ to quit heroin, like her mind wants but her body won’t ?? so she suffers a lot, honestly. because she wants but at the same time she feels like she needs it; and when she doesn’t have, she feels the side effects & for her, it’s shit. after all, she is indeed addicted to it.
she’s a stripper, but tbh she’s on the verge of losing her job but somehow ??? she doesn’t care ??? 10/10 she’ll try to live off the government support for unemployed ppl after that . it’s also safe to say she sells lots of shit from her house to buy drugs, so don’t fret if you see her carrying a television or any kind of furniture tbh. it’s bc she’s broke af.

she’s loyal ... to an extent . like, she wants to, but if she won’t think twice before stealing from someone to buy any kind of stuff she wants. she isn’t much of a material person, so you bet it’s gonna be either alcohol, cigarette or drugs. but that doesn’t mean she dislikes someone, though.
also she loooooooooooooooves iggy pop . the rock singer lmao. also david bowie. shes a huge fan. or led zeppelin too omfg.
