This is a beta-reading community for Our Flag Means Death fan fiction. Authors can leave links to in progress fics to get beta-read, and beta-readers can find fics to beta-read. Authors can alternatively leave information on how to contact them about beta-readering a fic.

If you leave a fic to be beta-read, be strongly encouraged to find a fic to beta-read in turn.

Don’t be a jerk to any of the beta-readers. This is a site to get honest feedback, not praise.

Summary: An exploration of Edward Teach through the eyes of Israel Hands in the context of the kraken metaphor and erotic dreams. It begins with their first meeting and progresses to past where season one left off, covering Stede’s return. It’s a five + one style story and thus has six chapters total, one for each dream plus a Steddy Hands sex scene that isn’t a dream. Stede gets represented in the erotic dreams as a lighthouse. Each dream is unique as Izzy’s understanding and perception of Edward shifts and changes. It’s mostly smut, but it’s thematic smut. There’s a lot of tentacles.
