I’m thinking of deleting to start fresh. Or doing a complete clearout of following so, if you’re interested in staying mutuals please like this post
Good god I’m having the worst insecurity drop. Like why do I still have this half baked blog where I haven’t even finished it. I haven’t even thought it through. I just… god it’s like I may as well delete.
I’m mostly just venting but damn
I don't know if many of you have heard of yuinezu so I give you edits i made of them
@fruitanddarkness
"I don't get it. What's so new about the year? It's just another morning. Nothing's changed. How d'you even know it's new? Do humans all have some sorta secret sense that lets them know the year has changed?"
He justs. Takes a moment to think while draping himself unceremoniously across the big dumb boar. “… when seasons change, did you know?”
Is he ideally gonna bonk him? Yes.
“Were you too dumb to keep track of that to know it’s a new season or did the day night cycle tell you?”
It’s such a rare sight. Leaned against the Masters column, perhaps from the exhaustion of the first taste of freedom, his shockingly strong yet frail form could be found. His eyes sank closed, right side pressed firm into the cool stone, Yuichiro had finally managed to fall into a decent deep slumber.

reblog to bite your mutuals
Intimacy is not just experienced through sex. It's crying together. It's whispering late at night. It's talking about growing up and what used to scare you. It's going places that remind you of your childhood. It's feeling each other without touching. It's exchanging energy.
Everything hurts…
Heavy, unwavering footsteps collide with the ground. His jaw hung open, gasping, desperately, for air that just would not come. Leaning, held up only by muichiro, his eyes widen in horror at the seight of Tanjiro… spines broken out of his backside, a snarl shot to his teeth. How dare he.. how dare he faulter! How dare he become a-
‘Nii-San! Stop! Dont-!!’
Ah..
Glancing to muichiro, his eyes flick down..
Right. They’d promise.. they were going to survive. Neither of them would die on the other. And truth be told.. if they got up.. if he charged..
He would die.
Even so. When he saw inosuke faulter, he couldn’t stop the scream that left his lungs.
“ANIKI-!!”
Inosuke's skin had long grown numb to the pain. There was no point in trying to feel anything, his senses long overrun by the wounds he had sustained in this unending night.
His vision had grown foggy, his target blending in the blur of his sweat, blood and tears. This wasn't supposed to happen. Inosuke could have killed a thousand demons without batting an eye, but... this?
This was his best friend.
He raised his broken blades in a trembling grip. His bandages were long soaked in blood, his ears deaf to the calls of his comrades around. Only the faintest presence still broke through the fog, reassuring, ever steady beside him.
His trustworthy brother.
He was sent flying again, the spines collecting him and tossing him into the nearest wall. Blood spluttered from the boar's hide, the world flashed crimson before his eyes, but Inosuke didn't give up. He couldn't give up. Not when all his comrades were still fighting... not when he would be breaking the promise he had made with his friend, an eternity ago.
He heard Yuichiro's shout. He felt the boy's distress, his terror, his utter disbelief at the situation they were all in. An electric current shot down his spine, pouring life into his muscles. He couldn't let them face this all alone.
He had to be there... to be the reliable big brother they knew.
"OUTTA MY WAY!"
He sprang and dashed, broken swords bared, a hand gently patting Yuichiro's shoulder on the way. I got it from here.
They’re hashira.
He’s in the way. Again.
He’s holding Muichiro back.
Again.
It is their duty to fight until their dying breaths.
And he’s holding Muichiro back again-!!
Still a useless, selfish;
Everyone was still fighting and yet, all he’d manage was to take down upper one and just barely survive the collapse of Infinity.
These thoughts filled the youths mind as he stood, watching in horror at the display before him. Even so, Yuichiro remained, right at Muichiro’s side. Feeling how his brother clung to him, he chose to ignore the rising guilt and shame. Yet gasping when Inosuke had been knocked away. Worry pulsing through his veins. One palm pat on his shoulder and yuichiro let out a soft shuddering breath. All of a sudden it didn’t feel so… impossible.
Neither he nor muichiro were in any state to fight. This much was true. However… intuitive eyes lingers to his brother, who nods. Held up, their strides in sync. Both let out a low hiss before bathing the demon in their mist. Obscuring its sight, while placing the battle in Inosuke’s hands.
Plotted starter for @mistdaze ~
A small smile cracks across Yuichiros face at the seemingly never ending rage that his companion seemed to have. Hearing him really bitch about the latest group he had to deal with. Shinasugawa really had the worst luck when he was forced to look after other slayers. Kept in stride with him, he was content to just continue to listen to the Wind continue his complaining. Pinks, oranges, a wide array of reds swept across the sky as dawn was fast approaching. Neither had gotten hurt from the few demons they had come across, least that were not self inflicted on the Wind pillars end. But just as the other would sigh, about to ask the younger a question, a spec of darkness moving at an incredible speed caught the youths eye. He moves faster than his mind, catching the others arm, twisting with a hard pull. The momentum threw the elder to the floor, while also pushing the youth into the unknowns pathway. Before he could even think, it’s slender form had caught wrapped itself around one of his legs. Coiled up and around his torso, secured itself taut around his neck.
“TOKITO—“ the shout of his last name, pools of cerulean laced with worry locked with Shinasagawa’s own widen gaze. He scrambled to his feet, going for his blade to cut Yuichiro free. But it was too late.
With one violent pull, he was yanked from his place and disappeared deep into the woods.
Violent cracking of wood broken by force of this things movement, far off yells of his own last name, the world blurred together as he was spirited away. Gritting his teeth, he puts all the strength he has to try for his sword.
Then the world seemed to go completely dark. Pitch black. Stolen from the world he knew, reality broke into nothingness.
Sounds of distress, screams of the dying, scent of ember.. his eyes snap open to a familiar sight of the Kakushi village with this large figure wreaking havoc. A demon?! But how—
Many tendrils were dipping into these…openings just like the one he’d been pulled out of. It’s grip finally release, the hashira is thrown a mile high. Eclipsing the moon, his body twists as he draws his sword in one swift fluid motion. Pulled back eye level, a glint of cyan cuts through the night to plunge deep into the Demons flesh. As he allows himself to fall, with his fall, flesh begins to split in too. Causing the oni to release a deafening screech, and capturing its sole focus on small form of Yuichiro.
Soft thumping as his feet came to land with grace. Flicking his blade up and to the side, he glares at his new massive prey. Landing, unbeknownst to him, right before a fallen kakushi, whom he shared a name with. His back to him, he takes a steady breath, slides his back foot into a wide stance, before charging at the screaming, thrashing demonic beast.
Yuichiro ran as fast as he could, doing his best to assist his fellow Kakushi along the way as they all tried to find shelter from this strange and awful demon. A part of him wondered if his life was just a series of unfortunate events. The fact that his life was being upended like this once again was frustrating at best. Was there really nothing he could do but run and hide like a coward? He grimaced at the self deprecating thoughts, shaking them away for now. He didn't have time for that. Otherwise he'd end up getting himself into an even shittier situation for not paying attention to his surroundings.
The Kakushi Yuichiro quickly shooed people to an area that seemed to be safe. It was easy to get them to listen at least, since most didn't want to hear his foul language if he had to repeat himself. He was fine with being considered mean and rude. Doing so kept people safe, more often than not, right?
Yuichiro was once again broken from his thoughts as he heard a loud screech from the demon that continued to summon portals to who knows where, and he saw the silhouette of what was obviously a demon slayer against the moon, slicing away at the monster that had attacked. That was a good sign at least. Slayers were here to save them. But Yuichiro knew well enough that there were some casualties. And there would probably be many more missing due to those mysterious portals.
What he hadn't expected was for the slayer to land right in front of him. And due to the moon being full and bright, he was able to recognize that familiar teal hair. However... this couldn't be Muichiro, right...? The hairstyle was quite different as well as his overall combat style and breathing technique. And before Yuichiro could even question it, his one arm reaching out to get answers, the familiar slayer was out of his reach once again to take down the demon.
"Who are you...?" he muttered to himself, his arm dropping back down to his side as his gaze floated back towards the portals curiously. It had to have something to do with those. But he didn't have time to sort out how. For now, he continued towards safety with the rest of the Kakushi, hoping to run into the mysterious slayer once again.
Don’t think.
Pay no mind to the chaos of the scene, how flames kiss cross his skin. This beast did not just appear here. No, this had been a rampage. Had Muzan’s aim changed? For so long, the coward had done nothing truly significant. Merely placed his little creatures out in a blind search to feast and grow in strength. His moves told nothing of any foresight. Why would it? That would require him to take slayers seriously.
Something like this..
Silence.
The lone slayer placed his everything to cut down the nightmare before him. Rivulets of teal flutter out, dancing on moonlit rays, the how and why, at the moment matters not. This demon, whom had already spilled so much blood, would now salt this earthly plane by ash.
Yuichiro would take its head.
Clash of nichirin with its shadow rain its spark, his footsteps dance across soft broken soil. Careful to twist his form from broken rooftop to rooftop, he’d not uttered a single sound. Not one noise, but his gaze never left his target. A flood of mist floods the area, Yui as its centerpiece.
His dance came with a goal. Weaving through the death, distancing himself and the chaos farther and farther away from safe haven. Remaining, teasingly close, mere inches away from its grasp, leapt away yet still within reach, a knowing smirk dance across his lips. It was not… until he saw him.
Colors drain from his face, as he’s forced to be face to face with a ghost, held aloft. He’d messed up.. it’s full attention had not fallen on him. It caught one. A kakushi.. One Yui could not just write off as a casualty. … familiar teal tips, strikingly similar fair skin, the same raven hair.. no.
That wasn’t.. possible.
Muichiro was—
Rage. Boiling hot, white burn seethes in his bones. His teeth bare themselves as the world seemingly melts away. This little chase came to a screeching halt. Power press fully in his legs, pulse to the tips of his toes. The momentum of his movement now all condense into one.
Mist Breathing. Seventh form; Lunar Eclipsing Haze.
There one second, gone the next, gathered momentum slows then snaps to the other side. Slashing the kakushi free, freeing ‘Muichiro’ from its grasp. But where his heel dug into its mound, turn from solid to liquid. Eyes wide, a gasp escape his lips before he was swallowed up by this thing.
I haven’t seen it in a hot sec but
There used to be a reblog asking what was the inspiration behind your blog name and idk I guess I’m feeling indulgent so.
For mine..
Beyond just you know, Yuichiro being Muichiro’s older brother and a descendant of Kokushibo..
The moon is often associated with light amongst a sea of darkness, where in solidarity there is still life and warmth. It illuminates the darkest corners of humanity, symbolizing also nurturing. Which you know, Yuichiro is a huge nurturer, one of his biggest fears is losing Muichiro. And he always wants to take care of muichiro even at the detriment of himself. And with mist? Well, it’s easy to say that yuichiro does feel extremely isolated and alone. And that the world of demon slayer is a dangerous one. And that is actually where Yuichiro thrives. Once he gets past his trauma regarding his parents, and that he can indeed rely on his life line(Muichiro) after that? He just wants to live in a world where he can stay together with muichiro and be happy. Making deep friendships with his comrades. He views all of the Hashira as family so;; he wants to become close to them.
He wouldn’t want to admit it, but he does find great purpose in being a demon slayer. And deep down he too wants to be one of the chosen. But more than anything he wants to stop being that useless scared child incapable of doing anything bleeding out on the floor.
He wants to embrace being of Mist n Moons.
" i'm so... tired... "
/from muichiro :)
Arm shot up to catch, waters clung to the other child’s skin as any other task had been forgetten in favor of offering their service to hold up his younger twin rather than offering protection to himself. Air caught in his lungs, cheek pressed to Muichiro’s own. Where had he come from? Yuichiro had ran this way the second there was report of not one but two upper moons! And now? Sopping wet, Muichiro had fallen into his embrace once that watery prison had been cut asunder by the elder.
Duty to kin came back in a single swing. His fear screaming in his ears, forehead press to Muichiro’s own, he takes a shuddering breath. “You’re burning up… dumbass! Why! Why didn’t you wait for me?! I told you my assignment would only take a day! Why couldn’t you just..!”
It wasn’t his fault. Muichiro didn’t remember him. He couldn’t be upset, after all they were slayers, and it was only natural for muichiro to get his sword fixed right away. Even so, that didn’t stop the sting of failure from trying to consume him.
As much as it did pain him, he couldn’t stay. Not with that fish demon causing havoc. Eyes flicker to the trembling child, staring at him as if he was a phantom.
A click of the tongue, knelt to his height, holding his brother close, as if handing him over physically pained him. Words came out with a snarl as he gingerly laid something worth more precious then the worlds most expensive stone. His sun.
“Watch over him. My crow will remain here with you. If he gets even the slightest sign of getting worse, you send her to me. Don’t even think of leaving his side, or I will take your life myself.”
Thumbs ran across his cheek, a soft expression resting on his face. One kiss to his forehead just as their mother always had done, standing to his full height. A snarl left his lips before he charges once more. This time going for the upper moon that had done this to his brother.
Awee I really do miss writing here;; if anyone’s still like. Interested in interactions, please like so I can like!!! Organize shit
She's grown to enjoy getting to linger around some of the Hashira, particularly in these early morning hours. Before training had a chance to begin, and the rest of her squad slumbered peacefully, Nezuko enjoyed getting to visit the Pillars. While not all of them were particularly good company, it left her more time to spend with her favourites. In particular, she had a developing interest for one of the twin Mist Hashira.
"Yuichiro-Kun!" As soon as she spots the other, sharp pale pink gaze brightens. With an eager bounce to her step, Nezuko is quick to approach the other. Careful clawed hand brushes hair away from his face, she presses a light little kiss into his cheek.
"How is Yuichiro-Kun?"
‘Yuichiro-Kun!’
He felt her presence, long before her voice reached his ears. Continued fingertips work through rivulets of raven and sea. Eyes lift only to feel the press of lips on his cheek. Confused. She really was an affectionate one.
Lifting his hand, his thumb and knuckles clasp over her nose playfully. Clasping it shut for a short moment with a smirk on his lips.
“More of the same. Looking to steal a taste of human lil demon? Tsk, tsk.”
@ofmistnmoons asked: She’s a strange case. Fully demonic, yet still retaining her humanity. How much? Yuichiro was unsure. But unlike the others, the Hashira was fully sure that the demon wasn’t a threat. Though it did make his eye twitch. Because if she was here, the walking annoyance must be near…
unprompted / always accepting
It felt good to stand at her true height again. As much as the girl demon had appreciated the safety the limits of her box had offered, it wasn't the most comfortable of living spaces. Under the security of the night sky, Nezuko was free to wander to her heart's content. And so long as she stayed within Tanjirō's sights, she even got to socialise freely amongst the others.
When sharp pink gaze spots the Mist Pillar, Nezuko makes an immediate beeline to greet the other. While many amongst Yuichiro's rank still didn't trust her, he seemed understanding of her circumstances. For someone with such limited interactions in a day, this was enough to count as a friendship.
"Yuichiro-kun!" She calls out in a eager, bubbly tone of voice. Reaching forward with outstretched clawed hands, she tenderly traces the Hashira's cheek. "It has been, so long, since Nezuko has talked to Yuichiro-kun."
Clawed fingertips grace across his features, visible blinking then a small hit flush from confusion and embarrassment. Not used to such affectionate touches. Not since…
Such gentle touches didn’t feel befitting, his own callous hand rose to catch hers. Pulling her hand down from his face with the softest huff. Tilting his head away to clear his throat. Uninterested in hearing comments from her puppies.
“Yes, it has.”
Ethereal pools of teal glance back to look to her. “What are you doing up and about?”
