I moved Ragnar over to @crowsandmurder a couple years ago, but today is 8 years since I started on this journey with him. I knew joining a small fandom would be hard but you all have made it so special. I felt a connection so fast and some of the people I met on day one are still so important to me.

Today has me feeling sentimental. I still am writing Ragnar, Bjorn and Alfred over on my multi I linked and I still love them. I love all the memories we've all built together. This year has not been an easy one. I lost my husband in October but friends that I have made in this fandom even, have become part of my life support. Small fandoms are worth it and even when he had drama over weird things in the fandom, I love and appreciate you all <3

Would you all still love me if I moved Ragnar to a sideblog or to the multi? 

I’ll be moving Anakin to his own blog soon, and if I had him on a sideblog or the multi, I could take him with me versus having two logins. I don’t want to neglect him, even though activity is scarce already.

Tomorrow’s nine months since my mom died and it hits out of nowhere and still hurts like fuck.

I remember when I could manage being active everywhere, before all that happened.

She had poured her whole soul and love into these confessions on his coffin.      “ I thought you were dead, Ragnar. ”      Honestly he only deserved to be hit and a good slap. His annoying smirk was glued to his lips as he watched her with his light blue eyes. 

Now that the battle was done, and that his plan had worked majestically, she would never hear the end of it. His ego was immoderate. And though, even with all of that, he managed to pull a smile from her clenched jaw. The shieldmaiden looked away with a scoff, blushing even as the man kept staring at her.      “ You should have told me.”     The blonde spat out, chin high as if to defy her King, hand on her hip. No title between them, just them, Ragnar and Lagertha from their old farm. Even if she was relieved he was not dead, she had went through a heavy emotional breakdown when learning about his death.     “ At least you came back somehow, so I can kick your ass.” 

Death, what an interesting concept.  He had been near dead. Was he still?  That fall from that wall had been something else.  It was not that he had been faking that, but they needed to show those..people who they were, and they were not doing a good job, with him just laying down. A plan had to be formed.  The less people that knew, the better. 

He was still recovering though, unfortunately. He had hoped to die, hoped he would go to Athelstan’s heaven and not Valhalla, but Floki had meddled with the ruins, just like he had killed Athelstan. “I couldn’t tell you. I chose to tell our son.  Does it not matter that I trusted our son? He is stupid with many of his choices. I gave him the chance to prove he could be a man.”  He cocked his head, in her direction.  “Would you really kick the ass of a man who is just recovering from death?”

On that note of people asking about if there are still Vikings things out there, have a starter call. I’ll likely leave it up until at least Sunday.  I’m a lot slower than I was, and I’m on my multi A LOT.  I still am writing Bjorn and Alfred too, but have a Ragnar starter. You know I love him.  I know i didn’t wind up doing starters for my last one, but I’ll do these!

Is there still an active Viking RP group? Or has it died out? I'd like to return but I'm worried it's not worth it.

I honestly am not sure. I know there's still people, and I still have Ragnar, Alfred, Bjorn, plus others I can pull out by request on my multi, but I'm just coming back after a death in the family, so I've come back slow, and am just getting ready to start writing Ragnar, or trying anyway.

But, people should reply to this post, and let this person know. I know I'm still up to RP Vikings stuff. I'm just not as fast as I once was, and I just need a little patience.
