    This was the last thing Bridgette expected when she started getting involved with her coworker. It had started off fun and with no strings attached. They would meet in secret and enjoy each other’s bodies. Then feelings started creeping in and they sort of became exclusive without meaning to be. And truth be told, Bridgette was quickly falling in love with the other woman. So to have their relationship outed so publicly was really unfortunate.

“Did your parents know that you fancied girls before now?” Bridgette was fortunate enough that her family was all made well aware of her pansexuality long ago, so the scandal wasn’t affecting her in that regard. No, it was just the media scrutiny and the public uproar that was weighing down on her. “Because I’ll feel right shitty if this is how they’re findin’ out.”

Playing Elsa had been perfect for Portia. She already had the ice-queen abilities so there wasn’t much acting involved. When Bridgette came along she’d indulged in her company and forgotten there might be consequences. “Nope,” the blonde woman breathed out in her strong, Scottish accent - that was one thing she changed when she was in character as Elsa. A Scottish Elsa would probably scare the kids away. 

“Looks like I won’t be going home anytime soon.” Her family were strong Catholics and she’d always been too scared to tell them she liked both men and women. She knew not everybody in her family were exactly heterosexual and some didn’t even abide by the law, but that didn’t take her fear away.

Sometimes Callisto wondered why she even liked Portia. She wasn’t the type of girl she normally went for. She was rude, mean, and selfish. But, she was able to see past the walls the blonde put up and really got to know the real her. That was why she stayed around. She was able to see the fun, sensitive, adventurous individual that Portia liked to hide away. Of course the only reason why the two started talking was because of their looks. It wasn’t until a few hook ups did Callisto really start getting to know the other. “l think he didn’t mean anything by it. He was just trying to get back at you.” Callisto said softly, with a shrug. She really didn’t know what was going on here. First she was being yelled at and now she was being, she really didn’t know.

Hearing Portia say that she couldn’t sleep with women anymore, Callisto looked at her with a blank expression. What the fuck was going on right now? She had no idea how the other could flip so dramatically in the matter of minutes. “So what, this is you breaking up with me because some chump you went to high school with called you gay?” Callisto snapped. “There’s so many more things that could fuck you over than being gay and being with me.”

“What the hell could fuck me up more than having my own family turn against me?” Portia questioned in an angry tone, annoyed that Callisto had chosen those specific words. The blonde had always been pretty narrow-minded and unable to see things from other people’s perspectives. “Again,” she then added. Not all of her large family, but some of them had turned against her when she told them her step father was sexually abusing her. They’d thought she was lying. She’d been fifteen at the time but it had mentally scarred her, making sure she did whatever she could to make them love her so that didn’t happen again.

Her eyes flurried away from Callisto’s, staring blankly at the wall behind her instead. “If was him this time, next time I might not be so fucking lucky,” the blonde moaned, despite how much she really didn’t want to run off and leave Callisto. If she wanted to be a man that was still as simple as ever. But it was the woman in front of her that had caught hold of her feelings. She exhaled. “I want to fucking be with you, but I don’t think I’ll ever know how to.”

It just made sense to join that thing when it was offered. “Oh, making promises now huh? We’ll see who’s making who scream, thank you.” She got out, kissing Portia back. “I am not suggesting anything! I would never do such a thing…”

“Dork,” the blonde repeated with a large smile, nudging her new girlfriend playfully with her elbow. “I’ll definitely be making you scream. You don’t know how good I am. You’ve yet to experience my skill.” Portia was thankful of how childish she could be around Cat. She’d never had this kind of relationship with somebody so far. Although it was only in its first day, that was still the case. “Are you tellin’ me you’re all innocent?”

“What… What do you mean?” Astoria asked with a frown. “It was ‘a fuck’ for you?” she asked quietly clenching her fists on her sides, her eyes focused on the floor. She wouldn’t allow herself to cry in front of the blonde. How stupid she was for thinking there was something more between her and Portia. “You don’t do girls?” she asked angrily looking up to meet other’s eyes. She knew Portia would see her tears but after last comments, she was way too pissed to care. “Newsflash, you did a girl. I’m sure you are proud of yourself as you ‘fucked’ a virgin.” with this brunette turned around ready to leave. “Agency will send another photographer to took photos of your games.” she said through gritted teeth. 

Portia felt angry. At herself more than anybody. But the frustration of not knowing what was happening was even worse. “God, I don’t know what the hell it was, but it shouldn’t have happened. Simple.” She’d enjoyed it, but she felt embarrassed and ashamed that she so badly wanted to do it again. The blonde woman adjusted her posture, so she was standing taller, prouder. Despite how obviously fake her re-positioning was. “I’m heterosexual.” It was spoken proudly. Fake-proudly with a small snigger. Portia’s eyes eventually found themselves back on the brunette’s. “So did you,” she breathed out. Despite how much she spoke about sex and claimed she’d done it before, she hadn’t. “No!” she then refused. “You will stay the photographer. I’ll...I’ll pay extra.” She wanted to spend more time without her without having to admit it.

She was still trying to avoid getting it on with women, but clearly it wasn’t going very well and the other was irresistible. She could barely keep her hands off of them. “I don’t do that with girls, okay?!” The blonde felt her eyes heading back into their direction again, but she had to stop them. She knew if she looked them in the eye it would only happen again. “We can still be mates though, yeah?”
