“ felix !! ” rosie called into the staff cabin just across the way from her own. With a backpack slung over her shoulder and her body clad in what appeared to be work out material, the young woman did her best to coax the other from his summer home. With her body sluggishly pressed against the door frame, she scrolled through her itunes library, sesrching for the playlist that she and felix made the night before. “ you’re never gonna learn to dance for your boo-thang if you don’t come out !! ” rosie couldn’t help but smile, teasing the other as he continued his rushed antics. Finally landing on a song, she let out an ah-ha, pressing the song so it would begin playing. Dancing Queen by Abba With her speaker held against the screen door, she began to sing along to the words hoping it was draw felix out sooner.

felix was almost dreading the dance lesson, but if he had any chance with elias, he knew he needed to dance his behind off. he fully trusted rosie’s abilities (more so than abby lee miller’s) and was ready to put the fate of his future relationship in her hands. felix was a nervous wreck in general, but one of the few things that could coax and calm him was abba. as the music flooded through the cabin, he slowly stepped out, mouthing the words to dancing queen. “i think... that i’m ready,” he stated, hands playing with the hem of his hiking shirt. “i thought seeing every episode of dance moms twice would make me an automatic professional, but apparently i’m not. teach me all that you know! i promise that i’ll try my hardest.”

“ you’re hiking in the middle of a thunderstorm ? ” she looked at felix with furrowed eyebrows. surely she was not in a position to question him as she was out here too. straightening herself up she lowered the flashlight so it wasn’t obscuring felix’s vision. With the humidity in the air, Rosie surely was not prepared to be in someone else’s presence. Her curls we not as much curls as they were just a large messy poof. Using a hand to attempt to smooth down her hair, only pushing the mess off her shoulders. “ oh, I was going to find cell service without screaming campers so I could talk to my sister and.. . ” she paused, her words trailing off as she began to wonder what lies she might pull off. Knowing Felix would see straight through her story she sighed. “ I fell asleep on the trail. ” Biting down on the inside of her cheek she bit back an embarassed smile. “ anyway, what motivated you to go for a walk in the middle of the night? Something on your mind?”

“well, it wasn’t thundering when i started hiking,” he defended, shrugging his shoulders a bit. felix listened to her reasoning, thinking it was quite normal before she mentioned that she had fallen asleep on the trail. “wait, you fell asleep? how? were you that tired?” as felix posed the questions, a small smile couldn’t help but crack on his face. it surely was abnormal to fall asleep on a trail, and while he was confused, he wasn’t judgmental. “well, i, uh, couldn’t sleep,” he lied, looking up to rosie to see if she bought it. although they were close, felix wasn’t entirely comfortable with telling anyone about his sleeping issues. “last night’s downpour sort of threw off my sleeping schedule and i napped through most of today,” felix added for safe measure, shrugging his shoulders. as another clap of thunder boomed in the sky, felix couldn’t help but jump a bit. “let’s get out of here. despite the odds being low, i don’t want either of us to get struck by lightning.”

 she was thankful that who she was going to stuck with in this cabin was felix . vee wasn’t up to being stuck with somebody who she rarely knew.  she atleast knew felix .  watching him close the door .  she started to feel how real this storm was.  hearing the whistling wind hit the cabin . ❝ it really is coming down out there . ❞  she mentions as she looks out from the windows , kind of mesmerized by the storm . vee turned to see felix wringing out his shirt ,  she took in that the male was completely drenched . towels .  she thought as  he then spoke about it . nodding her head as she went over to where he was , searching for the towels .  a large thunder hit and took vee by surprise . she jumped and cursed loudly . ❝ HOLY SHIT ! ❞ she covers her mouth and lets out a few laughs , before shaking her head .  hearing what felix says , it truly hits her that the two might be stuck here for a bit .❝ well that means we better start getting comfy here , who knows how long we’ll be in here then .  ❞ telling him as she turns back to look for towels. 

at vee’s observation, felix leaned over to look out the window. he could hardly see the actual camp for his view was blocked by rain streaming down the window. a shiver soon came over him, prompting him to search one more for the towels. of course, they were interrupted by another clap of thunder. “oh nelly!” he exclaimed, jumping back a bit. felix was often scared by loud noises, but at the very least he felt safe with vee in the cabin. he couldn’t help but laugh when vee swore, head tilting back a bit so he could see her. “you’re right,” he started, rummaging through the cabinets as his wet clothes started to chill his body. “oh! i found them, thank goodness.” felix took out four towels from the back of the cabinet, handing two to vee before wrapping one around himself. “this rain is making me feel so... icky and cold.”
