Watching the other flop on his back Virus moved to close the distance the other had put between them. His gaze following the others but the stars and flickers of the campfire meant nothing but location and light to the male. Sentiment and memories of such family was foreign to him. He moved until he was seated fully next to Bakura.
❝ Would you consider instructors or teachers family? They do teach until you no longer need them. ❞
{ لص }— “No, there’s a difference.”
He turned to look at Vi as he had laid down beside him, as if to verify his current position, only for a few moments, before his gaze returned to the stars again. He watched every single one, followed their lines with his eyes.
“Instructors teach you for their sake, a father teaches you for your sake.”
He felt like a fool, teaching someone about how it would be to have a father. The only reason he still continued, was to keep his father’s legacy alive. He would not allow time to let it turn to dust.
