POETRY COMPETITION || OPEN
While Wendy loved writing, she didn’t think poetry was one of her strong suits, despite writing it frequently but entered the competition anyway.
She furrowed her brow with her quill hovering over the piece of parchment, Wendy was completely stumped. Nothing came to her mind for a poem and she hated it.
“You know, if you need a muse, I’ve been told I’m a very good one,” Narcissa said, glancing at the blonde. Winnie was her name - no - Wendy. A kind girl who had a kind of niceness she didn’t understand. She’d never been raised to treat people so well. Rather, it was the expectation that they treated her as such.
“A French artist actually painted me once after seeing me for only a moment. Something about captivating beauty, or at least along those lines.”
“ I’ve never really written a poem about a specific person, and certainly not about their beauty.” That was partially a lie, the girl had written poems about her friends sometimes and their traits but she never shown them to anyone.
“ Since you volunteered, might as well give it a shot.” Wendy said, dipping her quill into the pot of emerald ink beside it.

‘’ I think Professor McGonagall should go in, since we’ll probably never see that again unless the marauders do something.”

"The stars are far away because they will burn if they get too close, not for you to lust after their beauty. They are fire, not wishes, and they have no mercy-"
