Valentine's is a holiday celebrating love, and damn Soleil if that means she won't acknowledge the person she loves most, even if it's a different sort than what the holiday advertises. " Dad !! " she runs at him, and gives him the biggest hug she can manage. She can't help but laugh as she sticks a spare flower she hadn't given to any girl into his hair. " I had one left, so maybe you can give it to someone ! I love you, Dad ! "

      Even despite not having the day shared with someone he valued as a partner, this was the next best thing. The one lady that would always have his heart no matter what she did, or how old she seemed to get. His darling girl, his precious daughter, his most treasured gift from the heavens themselves. The sound of her voice is akin to harps within the skies, the collision was enough to knock the current inhale back out from him. Matching the strength behind her own hug, pressing a strong smooch to the top of pink tresses while he was able.

      Her movement to push the stem into his own curls, his smile is enough to accentuate the color of the bright petals. What a sweetheart she was, even if his newfound accessory wasn’t intentionally reserved for him, the sentiment was still the same. It was still cherished, and he would be blessed that his pride and joy would remember him on a day where he knew for certain she’d been busy with her countless valentines. He really is proud of her and her charms. She is a beautiful girl after all.
