oh, yeah. i guess that would be bad. i used to make some simple tea blends myself, but lately i just kind of… drink whatever is in the cupboard. mint tea is nice though!

[ flora smiles back, leading summer into the cafe. it’s much quieter here, with only a few patrons scattered around. ]

crowds are awful, but it’s always quiet here.

      ❛ I’m pretty much the same way.... I like it when it’s not like, 17 cups a day. I’ve been drinking hot chocolate lately cause we have the stuff. ❜

     She blushes slightly, and rubs the back of her head with her free hand, chuckling a little. She looks around, relaxing now that the crowded areas were behind them. A breath of relief, followed by looking around for a place for them to sit.

      ❛ Good... and uh, thanks for hanging out with me. ❜

tea isn’t so bad, really? i guess it depends on what flavour - apple and cinnamon go rally well together, but i guess i just really like fruit teas.     ah - you don’t have to pay! really. i don’t mind treating you, since i offere to go here.

[ flora gives summer’s hand a soft squeeze. leading her through the streets. they’re lucky it’s relatively quiet, until they approach the main streets. ]

it’s not very far now.

      ❛ It is when that’s about all you have, and he doesn’t exactly like to switch up flavors. I like mint tea though.. It tastes really good to me. And you’re right, I don’t have to. I want to cause I want to be nice. ❜

     She smiled, and gave a happy chuckle to Flora, or at least an attempt of one. She felt her hand being squeezed, and looked down at it before nodding. Most the time she didn’t need to be on the Main Streets, or if she did she had someone with her...

[ flora nearly squeaks when summer grabs her hand, turning bright red. no, no, come on, flora. play it cool. she probably just doesn’t want to risk losing you in a crowd and also feelings are weird and dumb and need to go. don’t make it weird. ]

um, just a few times? but it’s a really nice place! everyone is very friendly. and they have really nice hot chocolates.

     Summer looks over at her, a bit confused, before shrugging. Feelings were weird, and she was really happy right now, but.. She had an excuse. She didn’t want to get lost in a crowd. She was terrified of them.

      ❛ Perfect. Dad insists I drink tea all the time, but I like sweeter things. My treat for how much I worried you about falling earlier. ❜

[ flora takes a step closer, ready to somehow catch summer with one hand, nearly breathing a sigh of relief when she doesn’t fall. ]       [ in theory, she knows summer does way more dangerous things than hanging off monkey bars, but hey. intrusive thoughts sure are a thing. ]

ah! yes, of course. i know the way, it’s a really nice little place.

[ flora offers her hand, before rconsidering, nervously letting it dangle by her side. ]

     She chuckled as Flora seemed to get worried, ready to assist if she were to have fallen. Grin staying as she landed, Summer winked at Flora, and nodded, walking beside her. She looked down as the other offered her hand, curious as to why, before shrugging it off. While she walked however, without warning, she did actually gently hold Flora’s hand. That’s what she was going for, right?

      ❛ Well geez, if you say it’s nice this place must be top notch. ❜

     She teased, smiling at the other. A playful gleam in her eye.

      ❛ How often have you gone here? ❜

[ flora appears on said horizon about four-ish minutes later, looking around for summer. when she spots her, flora walks over, frowning. ]

be careful. if you fall, i’m going home.       [ no she isn’t. she’d probably panic and call a doctor.]

     Looking down at Flora, she grinned seeing her friend, waving before she continued to swing back and forth.

      ❛ Aw you’re no fun. ❜

    Summer winked, and grabbed the bar her legs were hooked around, and in one motion pulled herself up and unhooked her legs. Dropping the short distance to the ground, she smiled at her friend, halfway adjusting her hair back to cover her blue eye.

      ❛ So.. Cafe? ❜

[By the time she had caught up to the man, he’d already taken care of the men he’d gotten into trouble with. It wasn’t that she was slow, it was that he was too quick.]

“Any more doubts?”

     She asked as she ran up beside him, looking at the bodies. A smile growing on her face, she grinned at him before going for their wallets. She had no care in the world about it. A thief does what a thief does after all, and old habits die hard. Getting their i.d.s as well, she turned back to him, excitement not even trying to be hidden. She was practically jumping up and down.

      ❛ No way! You really are the Descole my dad talked about! I can’t believe I’m meeting you! ❜

“Is that a challenge?”

[It was illegal to carry on him, but he did it anyways; he drew his sword.]

“Just watch.”

[Without missing a beat, he sprinted back towards the commotion. In the moment, he completely forgot promising Randal that he’d be peaceful and…non-murderous. Oh well. Once a Descole always a Descole.]

     Even before she was able to respond in a positive way, he was off, pulling out a sword. She blinked, slightly stunned before running after him, handover where one of her many knives was hidden on her person.

     She couldn’t even get the words out. She was... impressed and shocked. What was the likelyhood of her meeting one of her dad’s old... well complicated relationship but still. She completely was shocked.

        ❛ You really are Descole...! ❜

     There was a hint of excitement to her voice, and a child like shine seemed to fill her hetero-chromatic eyes. She actually looked like a kid, something she hadn’t been in a while. She was completely amazed.

[text] summer!!! [text] don’t fall. i’ll be there in five minutes.

     [text] i can go about 4 minutes and 59 seconds       [text] but i have the ability to land on my feet.

     Summer put down her phone, or rather put it in her pocket as she hung upside down from the monkey bars. She had already been out of the house and walking around, and the park wasn’t all that far away. She smiled and swung back and forth, looking at the now reversed horizon.

“That’s a very good question. I don’t know. I’m part of him, but I’m not him.”

The mysterious figure shoved his hands in his pockets, a scowl crossing his face.

“What’s it matter? And here I thought I’d be welcome…”

     Like the child she really was, the teenager stopped trying to be intimidating. There was no way that this was the same wimp who tried to stand up to her a few days ago. Digging in her pocket, she pulled out a lollipop and put it in her mouth.

      ❛ Well, I thought you were him. I kinda really don’t like him, or his friend... friends. Anyways, if you aren’t Apollo, then I’m pleased to meet ya. My name is Summer. ❜

     The teenager scoffed, all niceness gone from her, staring at the other. She was beginning to grow tired of this, and yet interested at the same time. This wasn’t the Apollo that stopped her before... Who was this.

“Eh…it’ll work itself out. Nothing you should worry about. What are you, 12? You’re a kid.

Anyways, my name is Jean Descole.”

      She corrected with a sarcastic tone, a grin on her face before hearing his name. She thought for a second, then scoffed, shaking her head. No way this was Descole.

      ❛ Yeah and I’m the queen of England. Whatever pal. How do you even know  that name? Dad used to tell me stories about a guy named Descole, but he’s way cooler than you. Wouldn’t run away from some petty street fight. ❜

“Hahahahahahahahaha trust me you don’t want o go back that way after you’ve been seen talking to me. Now if you want to actually live, you better hurry up.”

[He doesn’t grab her or push her this time, but he does take off in the opposite direction of the commotion. He wasn’t dying today. Nope. Too many responsibilities.

His pace is brisk, and he has no intentions of turning back.]

     She blinks the shock of his statement getting rid of what little of the good girl act she had gone. Following after him now in a faster pace, the teenager looks up at him, slight confusion and almost anger on her face.

       ❛ What did you cause over there...? That just looked like a normal street fight to me... Unless it wasn’t.... ❜

     Probably best not to mention that she knows and used to live in this area, or that everyone knew her well because of her ‘father’. Blinking at him, she shoved her hands in her jeans pockets.
