Dragon Songs
With the sacred dragons of this world comes great rage and sometimes something is needed to quell them. That was why the Great Creator made the Dragonsongs, melodies to be used by the Draconids in order to quell the fury of uncontrollable gods.
There are many out there, each specific to a dragon and named for them. An example is that the song passed down by the Caelums to soothe Zekrom is called the Lullaby of Lightning. Another is Reshiram’s song which is known as the Requiem of Embers.
Many songs are kept secret within families or passed down all over a nation as some lullaby to sing to children. Whether or not they all work is a mystery. The only confirmed Dragon Songs that work are the songs of the Dragons of Unova, Lugia’s Song (meant to stop the rage of the 3 Bird Titans) and a few others.
In the case of the 3 Dragons of Unova, all 3 songs played together will create one true harmony that will bring the dragons together.
At long last, three days before the wedding and the teleportation circles were being activated.
All over the regions, magic lit up ancient stone slabs and made the world glitter for a faint moment as many mages united their powers. It was time to accept the first of the guests into the Caelum lands.
Decrees were being spread all over by messenger and horseback: the portals were open. The wedding was in three day’s time.
The Caelums had plenty of room to go around, willing to put up honoured guests for the next few nights...and to take in refugees, for they knew that this was a perilous time in the world. Whether people would flock in from Hoenn or other lands, the Caelum family -- being neutral -- had always welcomed everyone with open arms.
While the refugees can’t be sorted right away, they are invited to join in the sites set aside for them to get to food and shelter, should they need it. Or they could even enter the festivity grounds, just outside the castle gates where everyone could join in on the fun for the next few days.
Entertainers have been invited to participate, to bring joy and laughter to the masses slowly trickling in. There were stalls for food and some selling wares brought in from around the globe.
When you go through to the other side of the portal, after weeks of deciding whether or not to attend, you are greeted by knights and colourfully garbed servants. While the knights are humourless, the servants greeting you are friendly and smiling warmly as they gestured to the grand entrance to the Caelum lands.
“Welcome to our kingdom,” they chimed.
All over the word, birds were flying everywhere in droves, all coming from the west. Almost like a cloud, groups of them would block out the sunlight within the regions they entered.
Some spread out, reaching the houses of the Great and Lesser families, whereas the rest of them remained together in their mission all over the provinces. However, just as those delivered to the houses, these birds – all carefully bred Pidoves – were delivering missives. Invitations to a grand ceremony in West Unova, within the Caelum lands.
Starting from July 29th, people will be allowed into the neutral zone known as West Unova in order to travel towards the Caelum’s lands to celebrate the wedding of the eldest daughter of House Caelum to a noble from a distant land. He hails from Sevii Isles, so you’ve been told. Some kind of nobleman, though of what titles it is hard to say.
The other three siblings will be in attendance, the twin brothers Lucian and Attrian, and the youngest, Rosa, who follows her mother’s foot steps as the Draconid in charge of Dragonspiral.
Although a little short notice, there is a buzz of excitement. There is promise of many spectacular things to happen. Peddlers will be allowed to sell their wares, tents and stalls set up within Aspertia and several entertainers hired to give off an extra jovial air. It is a time of celebration and the passing of a title, for when the eldest Caelum finally marries, they will be the one to take the seat of power in their family, whether they be male or female.
All are welcome to Aspertia, to enjoy the festivities, so long as everyone remains civil. In neutral lands, there will be no fighting and all guests who start them will be immediately ejected from the Caelum lands.
So now that you have found an invitation, will you go?

Forbidden Magic
It goes by many names. Small children being taught the arcane arts call it ‘No-No Magic’. Adults know it as the Forbidden Craft. Its true name is Ha’el Magic.
There are many mysteries surrounding its use and origins. Those of Sinnoh, the cradle of all magic, know from whence it came -- a craft borne from beyond the veil, it came to their world when theirs connected with the other and spirits and demons spilled forth unbidden.
Ha’el magic required sacrifice, that is life to be used. Whether it was the user’s soul or another source, it is an all-consuming magic and not a single person who ever used it remained alive or sane for long. Those who used it reported hallucinations, whispers of voices in their ears, terrible events happening around them. Hauntings, too. Yet, no matter what they recalled, they all pushed forward in their research of the craft and all of them paid the price for it.
The greatest trove of Ha’el knowledge lays in Snowpoint, beyond the first gate guarded by the Aura Corps and has lain there, unused, for decades since the last rush of ‘winter’.
There are rumours that if one manages the ultimate Ha’el spell, they could become a god, but since no one ever survived the use of this craft it is difficult to confirm. Those that fought against this kind of magic in centuries past would tell you that it is never worth the sacrifice and the people who used it tended towards becoming less than human in mind and spirit. Aura users could see the rot caused by Ha’el magic with their sight; certain mages may cast spells to detect Ha’el users.
Ha’el magic, once it has its talons in you, will not allow you to stop, as if becoming an addiction since the power of this magic allows you to soar beyond any normal mage. Nothing seems impossible to to with the power of Ha’el. Not even the boundaries of life and death are impossible to penetrate with this craft.
But remember, there will always be a price.

The World Beyond
There are five realms or ‘circles’ beyond the gate guarded by the Aura Corps in Snowpoint. The gate connects directly to the fourth realm, which is where Giratina resides.
The five realms are known as thus.
The First Realm/Circle
The one breached by the spirits that live within. Most are benign, even tricksy beings. They can bring council, and often have a strong attachment to the world of the living due to unfinished business. If they are called from their resting place in this realm, back to the land of the living, prolonged exposure to the living world will warp them and turn them into tainted spirits that would need purification. One viewing this circle will find it filled with odd bits and ends, with trees randomly placed here and there.
The Second Realm/Circle
Tainted spirits live here. They are older ones, waiting to be cleansed so that they may enter Paradise or become part of the cycle of reincarnation. These are angrier spirits who have been ripped all too violently from their lives and anyone who draw them from this place might find themselves possessed and made to do things against their will.
The Third Realm/Circle
Home of the ‘dark ones’. Beings with large jewel-like eyes and others who lurk within the shadows. Some can pass easily back and forth between their realm and the world of humans. They say that the likes of Umbreon and Absol came from this realm. Only misery and shadows exists there. Oftentimes, anything coming from this place are called demons.
The Fourth Realm/Circle
A land where everything is twisted, where up is right, down is up and left is changed every other day. Nothing makes sense here. Common sense does not apply and if you are unlucky enough to land in here, you will find times does not apply to this place at all. This land is barren and cold and the worst of spirits reside here. Sometimes, intact with their bodies from when they were alive. Sometimes made of...other things. But they are a mass of angry souls, growing and growing, headed by Giratina itself some say.
The Fifth Realm/Circle
Paradise. The land beyond the touch of ghouls, ghosts and demons. Almost detached and impossible to reach. Known as the realm of the gods and the heroic spirits of the world. This is their Valhalla, their Paradise, their Shangri-la. Not heaven, but an existence much better than those of the first fourth circles and the land of the living.
