eyes glanced in the female voice’s direction, peering, searching for the melodic tune to sing again. upon noticing it’s owner, paris’ eyes fleck with g o l d e n light, a sly smirk spreads his lips and he takes a deep breath.
“that would depend on which ones you’re referring to, my lady,” he says, bowing down in front of the beautiful woman, taking her hand in his as he planted a soft kiss upon it.
her words amused him ;; not solemnly her compliment (which he always loved to hear), but also her wise reply to his taunt. paris rised back up and looked again at the lady, thinking for a moment of how he should respond.
“you are right, i do not. will you tell me yourself, or will i have to find somebody to introduce you to me?” he asked her with a charming smirk.
Her smile became more of a grin, as if this was all very amusing to her, which, if she was to be honest, it was quite amusing. The little things had amused her often as of late, each a little distraction from her life that passed quickly.
“Perhaps.” She considered aloud, “Or perhaps I shall make you guess.” Helen teased before sighing, “Oh, but that would be rude when you are my husband’s guest.”
He can’t blame others, when they talk so badly about his brother or Helen, but he mostly pity the woman than actually blame her. And there she stood in front of him, silent and shaking The elder Prince frown. “No, not all of us.” he mutters
Her gaze shifts quickly from the floor to his face, surprise coloring her features. She would have expected him to hate her more than anyone in the city. He had more than enough reasons, more right to than any other. It was his kingdom, his people... “Truthfully?” Helen’s voice was soft, almost disbelieving.

A small smile curved her lips, almost playful. Perhaps she was feeling a bit playful that day, or perhaps it was just the joy of a feast meant her husband would turn his attention to whores instead of his queen. “One of the princes from Troy of course,” her eyes gave him a quick once over before meeting his gaze again.
“You must be,” she continued as he kissed her hand, noting the title by which he called her. Yes, he was certainly not of her husband’s subjects. “You do not seem half so coarse as Spartan men, nor do you recognize to whom you speak.”
