the  hug  stuns  her  but  she  eagerly  hugs  back  and  laughs  at  him  being  so  goofy,  it  was  so  refreshing  being  with  mateo,  he  was  such  a  nerd  and  he  also  understood  her  and  they  had  deep  conversations,  malia  couldn’t  stand  her  father  and  she’s  sure  he  feels  like  that  sometimes  as  well. an eyebrow  raises  when  they  finally  part   “  but  how  are  you  going  to  do  this?  do  i  have  to  sneak  into  your  suitcase?  there’s  no  way  your PARENTS  approved  of  this.  “  she  points  out  with  a  little  frown.

the  guys  and  attention  malia  was  used  to,  cocky  or  not,  she  just  wanted  a  damn  drink  and  could  take  care  of  herself,  yet  she  still  admired  the  older  women’s  spite  and  a  grin  forms  on  her  pink  lips,  taking  a  drink  to  celebrate  that  disaster  being  averted  as  she  leads  her  away  from  the  pathetic  men. “  thanks  for  the  save, though  i  could  take  them  all  out  if  i  wanted  to,  i’m  malia,  what’s  your  name?  “  curious  brown  hues  look  at  her  as  she  sets  her  drink  down  on  the  bar.

a  sly  smile  forms  on  the  woman’s  lips  and  she  sighs,  knowing  he  is  correct  that  she  does  deserve  a  break  from  this  world,  it  could  be  so  cruel  and  protecting  the  town  from  each  threat  was  exhausting,  she  didn’t  want  to  do  it  anymore,  she  wanted  to  be  selfish. she  wanted  to  go  with  him. “  fine,  but  you  can’t  bitch  it  hurts. “  malia  replies  in  a  teasing  tone  and  punches  at  his  shoulder  for  good  measure,  what  was  she  getting  herself  into?  although  part  of  her  knew  she  would  enjoy  florida,  she  just  didn’t  want  to  become  a  nuisance  to  mateo. “  i’ll  allow  you  to  be  my  hero just this  time.  “

hearing her last set of words, a joyful laugh escaped his lips  &  picked malia up in his arms, swinging her around carefully with a wide grin on his face before putting her back down. mateo was definitely excited for her to come along to miami, he’d have someone who was just as fun as him to enjoy all the simple things with  &  also have deep conversations with instead of over the phone. ‘ you’re going to have fun, i promise, PLUS YOU’LL BE WITH ME. how much more better can it get, you know ?? ’   the male joked, dark hues gazing on the woman in front of him with that charming grin still fixed on his features.
