4. Would your muse choose to be loved or feared?

Loved, definitely. She can’t stand the idea of her being feared-- she’d feel sick to the stomach and would have far too much anxiety for her mind to handle-- and she just feels better knowing that someone doesn’t want to run away or scream or feel that bad when around her.

❅ ||: A smile given is a smile returned, if anything it was basic etiquette to do as such. It was certainly refreshing to find a fellow stargazer who found the skies just as alluring as she did, which was enough to make her smile all the more brighter. Music ranked higher than stars in her mind, but it did not mean that she did not appreciate the dotted lights that decorated the night sky any less.

Casting her gaze upon the night sky, it indeed was a beautiful night out– seeing that the sky was illuminated with brilliant lights, stars that she would not have been able to see back in her home.

The sudden question does catch her by surprise, as she turns to face the girl, eyes blinking as she thought it through. She never really did have the chance to be exposed to any sort of children’s activities, seeing that she had already been integrated into education at a ridiculously young age. That was not to say that she was not aware of the act seeing that she had seen certain people do such an act while she was out stargazing.

❝ ..Personally speaking, I have yet to wish upon a star, nor have I wished for anything in general. However, I have stumbled upon research regarding how people tend to wish upon a star, and how more than 40 percent of those that do are more likely to fulfil their dream. I stand upon neutral ground regarding this topic, but there’s no harm in trying, I suppose? ❞

||** She originally had no plans to share her star filled night with a new acquaintance, but now she was quite pleased with the fact she had not walked away to do her own thing. She’d feel quite sorry if she’d ever missed on a conversation with this person.

...She should as for their name, shouldn’t she?

“ Oh, so I see... Well ! ! Since I’m a first hand pro wisher, you should make your first wish while I’m here ! ! That way, it’ll definitely, definitely come true.” Milan laughed, even though none of her wishes had come true, she liked to think she made others wishes come true. She had a knack at making things that gave people luck. “ That’ll make it reeeaaal memorable, right ? ? “

She paused. And a very small giggle escaped her lips.

“ Y’don’t haf too, y’know. I just reckon it’ll be fun if you do ! ! “ She turned back to the girl, clapping her hands together. “ I’m Milan, by the way. A pleasure to meet you, miss... um.. “

She takes a hopeful glance to see whether her question is answered.

3. What type of people is your muse naturally attracted to?

Kind people and people she’s able to have full, smart conversations with. Ones that don’t notice her accent at all? She’s attracted to many qualities, but it differs from person to person, definitely. She likes to see what their natural qualities are and she tends to find out whether she sees that as attractive or not. Those are just some of them that she’s noticed. But, she’s a bit of an oddball when it comes to who she’s attracted to naturally, as it differs in some areas between whether it’s romantically or platonically. All in all, their similar, but their different at the same time.

|| ** She’s always quiet when she walks around the Modern District. That much would be obvious, it was loud and there was no reason for her to talk to anyone. Obnoxious and loud were the first things that always came to her mind when it came to the district, but she didn’t mind it all too much now that she’d been here for quite some time. On one side, the people’s lack of care and attention gave her an excuse to think about a lot of things, without having anyone to question her if she was okay or if she needed any help.

Milan stretched her arms up momentarily. Were her first thoughts of the place she lived people’s first thoughts when they met her? She wouldn’t doubt it at all, she did have a tendency of being a little bit loud and annoying at times, but it honestly wasn’t all her fault.

Man, she needed to get her head out of the gutter. All these thoughts would clog up her brain.

A smile forced it’s way upon her face. She had things to do today. Putting bad thoughts her brain isn’t, and never will be, one of those plans. She had no intentions of letting them in, not now, not ever.

“ Excuse me, stranger. “ The amber eyed woman reached out toward a stranger’s shoulder, tapping it. “ Would you happen to know where a stationary shop is ? “

❅ ||: Gaze casted down to her laptop as her fingers tapped lightly on the keyboard, she seemed deep in thought as she quietly hummed out a tune, no louder than a whisper. Though, it was not as though it actually mattered seeing that there was little to no people around at this time of the night, let it be whether they simply preferred staying at home or did not like to venture around in the night like she and a handful of other people did. She never understood why people disliked the night.

It seemed to be clear skies for today, seeing that the stars that dotted the night sky were clear as day to her, the pale moon lighting up the sky with the stars as its accompaniment. That was a sight for sore eyes to say the least, considering the cloudy weather back at her home always made it hard to see the stars, making her effort to outside and stargaze a complete waste.

Though what catches her attention is the voice that seemed to be calling out to her, causing her to look up and seek the source of said voice. The sight of a brunette causes her to instinctively shut her laptop, both out of courtesy and so that she could divert her complete attention to the stranger that had approached her.

Her inquiry was a rather simple one, so who was she to not answer?

❝ Ah, not really. This area is rather secluded from the main city after all, and most of the inhabitants of the city opt not to be outside during the night time. Might you be here for the stars as well? ❞

||** So they were here for the same thing? What a coincidence! A good one too, maybe she could talk about them to this other girl, she’d always wanted someone who’d had the same love for the shimmering lights hanging above them. They were beautiful things, shame some people who lived in the very same city didn’t even attempt to take in their sheer beauty.

Perhaps her ‘obsession’ with stars came from always wishing upon them as a child. Her silly elder siblings had always told her they’d come true. Now, as an adult, she was inclined to believe such things didn’t exist, but it didn’t stop her from hoping those things would come true.

“ Ah, that’s really, really good ! ! “ Milan’s smile brightened immediately as she expressed her happiness to this stranger, something she hoped they wouldn’t mind her for doing. “ It’s a real lovely spot, and the skies so nice right now ! ! -- Ah, yeah, I am here for the stars.”

The brunette gave the girl a small smile.

Then, she turned her gaze up toward the sky, and folded her arms behind her back, eyes wide in an attempt to not blink. “ This is a little sudden, but do you believe in falling stars granting wishes... ? “

2. Does your muse look down on others for their musical choice?

Of course not.. well, at least out loud she wouldn’t. Since she’s not one to listen to music anyway unless it’s live-- even then, her attendance at some sort of concert would be rare, if not miniscule-- so she’s in no place to judge people for their taste in music without taking a good look at her own, but she’s certainly the sort to think rude things, though she will attempt to push it out of her head. If it’s loud and disruptive, she won’t like it, and she probably wouldn’t like the person very much either.

||** She’s rather abrasive when she wants to be, and it certainly showed more on this particular night, when she was out for her usual walk in hopes of finding a more secluded spot for stargazing. They weren’t particularly nice in the Modern District -- was it all the artificial light in the area ? ? --, but if she were lucky, she was able to find some sort of small area with a few trees or something of the like nobody would be in for her to climb a tree.

She had plenty of time though. It’s not even sunset yet, as the sun’s still hovering in the skies, but it’s always good for her to prepare early in case she forgets the path or ends up wasting her night wandering around for high ground.

This spot might be the best one she’s found, so far.

She turns toward a younger girl on a park bench, a light smile forming on her face, a few questions to ask coming straight into her mind immediately.

“ Excuse me ! “ Her tone was bright and airy, perfectly matching the way she presented herself with her appearance. Sweet and kind was what she was going for, and she certainly fit the bill. “ Do people come by here very often ? “

1. What does your muse do during a sleepless night?

Milan tends to stargaze. She loves stars, so it tends to be a rather calming experience. With a cup of coffee and a warm pastry by her side, she tends to find herself drifting off after a few hours of watching. It’s her fail safe ‘get to sleep’ plan. If, however, that doesn’t work, she’ll then end up watching some sort of children’s program or read a book.
